Okay, who does she know? No mortal could produce such perfect sound quality in an outdoor concert. We know she has an amazing voice, and the song is a classic studio production. But how do you manage to make it sound so perfect out of doors? Somebody up there is helping her, I'm telling ya.

Songs like Linger and Mazzy Stars 'Fade into You' and 4 Non Blonde's 'What's Up' were true timeless gems from the early '90's that stir powerful, spine chilling, emotions to this day. I have not heard any new artist since then replicate that sound and feeling in the same vain; probably because these artists have already been there, done that. The '90's alternative and grunge scene was truely unique and is desperately missed.

What pisses me off is I was supposed to have gone to this Woodstock because my friend's brother was the guy that set up the stage and we all got backstage passes, but my friends left because they left a little earlier without telling me and I wasn't about to drive from New York to upstate alone. I was mostly pissed off because one of the other bands drummer got sick and called out for a drummer and I would've been called to fill the spot if I was there, but my chance got blown away even to meeting the bands like the cranberries. I missed out on the chance of a lifetime and I can kick myself in the ass for not being there, I should had just drove up to Woodstock myself, and I blame my friends for not getting me when they decided to all leave earlier that day. when I asked them why you do that, they said, sorry man we forgot all about you, but thought about you when they called out for the drummer!!!

I never liked the cranberries when they were in their prime, but now I can appreciate there talent. Maybe it's because pop music is so terrible right now. I mean this band was all over the radio in the 90's and they were barely even on my radar. But if you stack them up against nearly any band getting radio play right now it's not even close. They blow about 99.9% of them away. I think I'm gonna ask Uncle Rico if he'll let me borrow his time machine.

theres a few good tunes that were not played on the radio which I think you should search out.Also there are plenty more lively tunes than"linger" which is a catchy one it itself(because of her accent).

The Difference between Gen X and Gen Y.
@doolittlegeorge4 жыл бұрын
What difference is that? True the crowd was God awful so despite living mere miles away I didn't go. Not this girl tho. Got laughed at for being a Cranberries fan in Washington State by all those Gen Y types later just as grunge was taking off. Darn peculiar thing to see "the scene" from so many different vantage points (Upstate NY, Athens, GA Seattle WA). Feel blessed having grown up on such awesome music in the 1980s to wind up in the 1990s too! Collective Soul Soundgarden Bush Blind Melon And on and on and on and on.

We were so sure of ourselves back then. Life was awesome. If I could go back to that time, I'd do so in a heartbeat. Life nowadays is sad and unbearable. Unless you're naive or dumb, there's not alot to be happy about. Music sucks and we live under the constant threat of being poor and homeless. Not to mention the opioid epidemic. I understand why Dolores drown in her bathtub. Life f^*king sucks... Rest in peace Dolores. You were one of the beautiful ones. Top to bottom, in and out.😢

She was quite a little pixie. I saw an interview of her band members talking about when the were in their early days of starting out, she would actually sleep laying cross ways across the members laps in the back seat between shows. I'm convinced they all cared deeply for her. Very touching

I was at Woodstock 94', didn't see her... I heard part of it from a distance... They had 2 stages running at the same time... Had to pick and choose... It was a real "B" trapsing back and forth through all that Fking mud from the main stage to stage "B"... I drove most of the way back home to Papillion Nebraska barefoot so the soles of my feet could dry out... It didn't matter that I was wearing top-of-the-line 8" leather work-boots... Mud wasn't the worst of it... It was the fact that it was so uneven... My back was killing me... Reminded me of what the surface of a cow-pen was like at a feed-yard... (I grew-up in a family business that did many things at the same time... Hauling corn and beans from farm to market, haul cattle from farm to feed-lot to slaughter-house...Combining, Shelling... Put-up hay. Plant crops... walk beans) Porta-potties made us not want to eat the whole time... We each brought 2 MRE's 2,000 calories each... Didn't go #2 the whole time.
