Wow. I had no idea what goes into the process of making a Dingwall bass. From the extra steps of taking an already assembled bass and turning it into a perfect “weapon”, to the special woods that go into the custom basses, I can now really understand why those instruments are held in such a high regard. I know that once I’d be able to afford one, I’ll get one. Props to the Dingwall guys. Thank you Andrew for the video and thanks to Sheldon for showing us the factory ❤️🔥🤘

That’s good to know when I get a factory dingwall down the road it will be truly set up and quality controlled (a lot of even top companies don’t make sure the basic measurements are completely correct to the custom line, you have to take it to a luthier as soon as it comes in)

Everybody needs to check out Ritter. They put tremolo systems on their basses and they even make their own strings in house. Some of their basses are built such that the entire length between nut and bridge is fretboard. The entire length is fretboard. The pickups are hiding under the fretboard. It’s wild

Panning your mics hard left and right is... a choice. Understand what you may have been going for, but it is overall more distracting than anything else, as the side the audio is on doesn't always correlate with what side the current speaker is on in the video. It just makes for a more distracting experience in an otherwise cool video. Please keep mics mono or at the very least, don't pan hard left and right, as there is nothing center to... well center the sound, makes it feel more empty, yet somehow overbearing at the same time. No hate, just an audio nerd trying to give some advice.
