It felt like NAMM was back to normal. Always a fun time. Loved the new Mayones bass.

I actually have one of those new nuts paired with locking tuners that replace the locking nut of double locking trems and I LOVE it. Planning on getting a trem that uses thumb screws to tighten the bridge locks so I can have a hex key free string change.

Priceless Andrew; sincere thanks!! Mike Stringer and Aristides have done so much to push forward the state of the art in design. Bucketlist trip: fly to the Aristides factory to take delivery of my Aristides 070SR. You've knocked it our of the park with your take here on the best of guitars at NAMM '25; thank-you!

Euler's personal Ruf guitar is insane. The carbon along with that moss finish made my pants significantly tighter. 🔥

The Aristides STX is such a flex. Best guitars in the game, best company in the game, and nicest guys you’ll ever meet.

Great to see richlite getting love. I actually hope some other companies begin to offer alternatives to make it more affordable for everyone! Richlite, 22 stainless steel frets, bridge emg 81 and neck 85, and an evertune is kinda custom goals for me. I'm a simple man

That Aristides offset...so sexy. 8 string version with their multiscale trem is now my dream 8 string. Lots of saving to do though! Bought my first 8 string a couple days ago after seeing a Cort KX508 at a great price in a local second hand shop. Had the 7 string version a while back so I knew it would play nicely and its Fluence Moderns sound great. I was gonna save for a Schecter Tao-8 or Legator Ninja X8F but have now spent a lot less and can now save for the Aristides instead whilst getting the hang of all those strings. Interesting to see offsets getting popular for metal guys now. Stuff like LTD's XJ series, Hapas and even Andrew's upcoming signature. My own Legator OT7F has an offset kinda vibe in a pastel pink colour and I love the way that looks...but that's a discontinued model that I never saw a huge amount of exposure on, I reckon now would be a good time for Legator to bring back that shape. I got mine last year from a retailer here in the UK that had just 1 left, it had already been discontinued a year or so. Also now I'm a Legator fan, I know they actually have some more expensive stuff than the resin top model they showed. They have a new US built line, only a 6 string with a Floyd released so far but they showed pics of some NAMM US builds that included 7 & 8 string hardtails. They also have a Japanese line, and also some 6 & 7 strings with their own multiscale trem that look pretty cool. All of those are more expensive than the one they showed, I guess they just picked what they thought looked coolest.

Man I really wanted the Mike Stringer Jackson Surfcaster. Think there’s still a chance we’ll get that?
@AUTI5T1X19 сағат бұрын

@@DaltPlaysGuitarI guess the bright side is that they'd make a good modding platform. I was really hoping for something akin to the Pro Plus line that was around $2kCAD.

I know its not possible but if Mayones could have got a "budget" model around $2K, I think that would have been more of an upset. But I guess if you're able to buy a mayo, you want to go all in.

I forget the name of it. Maybe it's in this video. Im typing this as I start the video. But a new bass company whose basses look incredible are being shown at NAMM. I ran across it on Instagram but forgot the name now. Sigh. And I'm saving my pennies for that Mike Stringer collaborative model.

the black offset Jasper Mayones looked fantastic as did the production one with that beautiful open pore with the blue ; the Aristides STX , ppfff, excellent. i love the Volas, but they screw up the Tele style with the tele plate. if only they got rid of it. it’s good news that they’ve partnered with Bare Knuckles, cos ..although the JZ Fro is probably my fav production guitar, right now…the P90s they’ve mounted on it, are pretty boring.. thanks for the video, (my 1st time to your channel)
