Even if he did have enough beds to do the one cycle he still wouldn't have, since killing the dragon with beds doesn't give you the free to the end advancment, he mentioned this in his run, because I was bored and watched the entire run

Technically you can get it low with beds, and then axe it to get the advancement, but that can sometimes end poorly, and isn't always worth the risk when the overworld is extremely good

@@Odogster if you do accidentally kill the dragon with beds, you can still redeem it later if you kill the dragon that you respawn at the end

The how did we get here advancement setup is from my video. It took alot off testing to make it but it can be improved for newer versions. You don't have to get all status effects for it which you miss said in the video.

AA is soooo underrated! The fact that Elysaku (undisputed King of the category) has only a few thousand followers on Twitch - and usually barely more than a hundred live viewers of his runs - is just sad... Thank you TWT for bringing som well-deserved attention to AA!

"He finds a mega taiga which isn't particularly helpful, but at the very least is one less biome to find" Considering I've seen runs die to mega taiga as it's one of the rare biomes, I'd say it's pretty helpful to find one. That said, you did a great job with the video. It was easy to understand for anyone new to the category, and the accuracy is very impressive considering this isn't a category you're used to commenting on. Only what I mentioned and the thing about the one cycle were off. Props for including the churro content, buff Elden and crazy Elden btw. P.S: One more thing, you forgot to mention that Getting an Upgrade is the hardest advancement and that's why it's always done last.

@@reda84. Yeah it's not a helpful biome at all, just a pain in the ass. Same with mesa. No other purpose for visiting except for checking one biome off the Adventuring Time list. At least the mushroom island has two advancements tied to it (AT and 2B2)

Great video! Quick thing to mention that has screwed us a LOT in co op aa... the shulker (from what we've seen) has a 50/50 chance to spawn at world spawn, or 0,0. They patched this in 1.17 thankfully tho.

I find it fun how Getting an Upgrade is the final advancement. After expressing complete mastery over the world of Minecraft and doing everything a world has to offer (i know, no need to comment, you can do other things) The last thing needed is a stone pickaxe. Something one can achieve in the first minute of the game, an item for beginners. I just find it fun.

Manually crafting harming arrows are only viable on Bedrock in my opinion. It just isn’t really worth respawning the dragon and collecting dragons breath for... 8 arrows... especially when tipped arrows are easily purchasable from max lvl fletchers

@@martinzachry2121 8 arrows per potion - 24 for 3 potions which is what you normally get per ingredient. Manually crafting weakness arrows is better for zombie villager healing because getting it from a fletcher is complete RNG and is last trade. 1 dragon fight can easily get you a stack of dragon’s breath. Even a few dragon’s breath will help you get a stack of arrows if that’s all you need

You can actually get unfriendly alliance by killing a ghast with a bow or crossbow while entering the portal, if timed correctly you can enter the portal before the arrow lands on the ghast saves so much time for AA%

Dragon Breath is for lingering potion which can be used for tipped arrows, not many people use it but it’s pretty powerful. You can also get tipped arrows from Villagers so yea there is alternative to that.

What dont you understand about them? (Genuine question not trying to be rude) Basically TAS stands for Tool Assisted Speedrun and it is modifying the game by manipulating rng, slowing it down, and other things to make it as close to perfect as possible to use as an example for the theoritically limit of speedrunning. Alternative method: step one: load into a new world step two: open to lan with cheats on step three: run the command --- '/advancement grant @p everything' This is the quickest method, and can be done in approximately five seconds (if you copy and paste the command)
