Nice! I'm sure it will be awesome to play through again 😃 I really want to replay it too, but for some reason the game (on PC) glitched for me and there's a door that just gets stuck and doesn't open no matter how long I wait 😵 But anyways, I think the original generally has a lot scarier sounds for the Necromorphs, especially the Exploders and Guardians! But yeah, this moment here gave me that similar kind of feeling of being creeped out :)

@@DanTheManPSFan Huh, strange... I'm not too experienced but maybe try to reset the save data for DS1, or something like that / reinstalling it. But yeah, the Guardians especially sound disgusting in the OG, in a good way. I like the Enhanced Sladher sounds the most there.

it clearly feels that if it's crying in pain even he doesn't feel it as some of the necros still have some consciousness makes it unsettling few times and is a cool detail too !!!

I haven't played the games, but I saw a video that showed how some of their screams can become understandable if you reverse them... They seem to be crying out for help, and in extreme pain (if I remember right), which gave me chills 😨 I bought the games, and hope to play them when I find the time :)

There are some really creepy whispers/hallucinations you can hear in the remake that suggest they may still have some consciousness. You may randomly hear voices saying, "It has my face...", "Under the skin it's still me...", and "I know pain, but death hits different..." 😨 I think it's super creepy, and get chills thinking about it

I believe that they do. Especially in the remake, there are some hallucinations you can hear randomly that strongly suggest they do. Some of the hallucinations include voices saying, "It has my face..." and "Under the skin it's still me..." Some other hallucinations say, "It hurts", "It hurts like hell", and "It f*cking hurts". Which I imagine to be related 😨
