Yes indeed this pedal is so different, and I like how left field it is! It’s kind of like the people behind The Residents made an instrument pedal (?) I was reading in the manual that it can do MIDI commands, interesting!😮😮😮😮

The Alexander Pedals Marshmallow is even more like The Residents.

If you wanted to play "Lo Fi" live, that opening warping sound (around 4:00) feels like it would really work for you. Sure, not generally something one would use, but it sure fits that genre. Edit: 6:10 has the full LoFi effect with the "lag" setting cranked -) Us synth guys call that effect at 10:00 a self oscillating filter when you crank up the resonance. At least I think that's what's doing it, together with an automated L/P filter cutoff modulation.
@HiGlowie2 жыл бұрын
We also usually refer to the “lag” as “glide”

@@stevenwebster4504 dafty? Never heard that word before. But it's not a question of who made it because if you really want to be specific, we should be speaking Old English which no one knows how to read. Or better yet why don't we just speak Latin? It's not a question of who made it, it's a question of who is more culturally popular. And right now, buddy, the United States is the most influential country in the world.

Great pedal and you can get some real whacky effects from it but as with all pedals like this less is more. I can see it being useful in very small doses.
@shaynes.97734 жыл бұрын
Odd--- it sounds a bit like a cassette deck that has a motor issues, or a turntable or reel to reel that is manually rocking the platter/ reels. It is unique... That one setting that you commented on as being the most musical, actually I can see myself using that one. Thanks for the cool pedal review, Mary.

I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE!!! The octave synth is enough to make me want to save up and get it, such a cool sound. The others would take some work to really figure out how to use (aside from the tremolo, and I have one of those), but that octave synth sounded amazing.

Sequencers from what i can see, really aren't so much what you would take to a gig but play to get a sample off, then you can mash it up in your daw. Unless you hone in a specific setting or on some acid/smack/shrooms/mollys etc
