I want everyone to know I'm mostly doing this because I know he'd hate it, and that makes me happy. Cubs fan here. I actually love this guy. He is an absolute Chad. Out of all the marquee talent that floated through the North over the years, and it has been plenty, trust me. Joey Votto is the only non-Cub I just can't dislike. Pujols? Stole all of A-Ram's great years with the Cubs because he's a god of baseball. Dislike him. Fielder? Dislike him. Killer B's? Dislike them. Dislike all of them. I could do this all day. Joey just... Man, everything he did on the baseball field in his prime was made to look so effortless. Joey Votto just made hitting look too easy. He got the stingy ass Reds to open up the checkbook and give him that well deserved extension.
