As a member of the service industry for 20+ years, I can say Jon Taffer KNOWS what's up. Same with his friends. I've been bartending (doing wedding gigs and such) as well as cooking (catering for MLB teams). ...I've also worked in shitty bars like these... this is very real. A bar I worked in had girls taking off their clothes at 930pm, meanwhile a group of guys are huddled in a stall in the backthroom... smelling things. The owner SUCKED. My room mate (coworker) and I ran the place with a shallow pool of employees. Money was good. The memories are still surreal 9 years later.

i used to work at ulta (cosmetics store for those who dont know) and i ended up quitting because i would make a purchase every single day. whether it was a $2 lipgloss or a $50 pallette. i had so much product and no way to use it all before it went bad so i had to have an intervention with myself. invited all my friends over and let them take whatever they wanted and didnt look back. now i force myself to use every drop of a product before i buy a new one.

I watch this video at least once a day. "Union Pacific Railroad let's make some fucking noise! Let's get ready to make half the minimum wage!" makes me laugh out loud every time.

5:26 The fact that she's doing the same scam as the people who dress up in costumes in Hollywood or New York is hilarious

My mom was watching Bar Rescue last night, and I wanna thank Andy for teaching me of this show's craziness so I could be given the proper jumpscare seeing John Taffer's gargantuan face on the TV at 11:28 pm.

As an Iowan, I think you're misrepresenting us a little bit. That bar is actually the most architecturally detailed building in the entire state.

Imo Bar Rescue is like Kitchen Nightmares but exclusively for bars Though with alcohol being involved more, it does lead to some more interesting, perhaps scripted, situations

do you know how much people in omaha shit talk iowa? this is the best episode ever made hands downs because it only proves omaha's point of how shitty iowa is even compared to omaha, nebraska.

It’s okay, Iowans shit talk every other Midwestern state too. We aren’t very nice to Nebraska. But to be fair, I live on the complete other side of Iowa.
