Well, at the 1982 AFC Championship between the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets, that's sort of what happened with Miami. Due to an injury by Dolphins kicker Uwe von Schamann, and bizarre roster rules that left all rosters frozen at the end of the regular season, the Dolphins were left with 0 kickers on their team going into their biggest game of the season.
