I did the apocalypse challenge yesterday at level 63 thanks to your videos. I honestly got very lucky cause I smudged the ghost quickly and thought I was gonna die cause it was a revenant and in the waiting room.

Did you know that you can summon the ghost using the summoning circle and lure it out of it during it's initiation animation with the music box? :D

i just used the luigi board to find the ghost room and just did everything as normal after taking sanity injections.

I got crazy lucky with this challenge, even for how easy it is. First ghost was a yurei. My brother pulled the tarot cards, pulled a devil, and when it wandered back after the event it double touched the chapel door. The second ghost was a demon. I asked the luigiboard for the ghost room and it hunted immediately. It was either a banshee or demon at that point but then it hunted when I was out of the map so it outed itself as a demon. The last one we started a hunt with the circle and it was a deo. Very cool couple games.

should make a weekly challenge where you have to fill up the book with ghost photos but u can only take them during hunts and maybe other stuff that require u to use other items to a max capability, i feel like challenges that are just dont by finding out who the ghost is is sometimes just too fast

11:45 actually any ghost can do the shadow event with the summoning circle, I have head ghosts that aren't shades appear in a shadow form instead.

I stopped playing. I hate the repetitive running back and forth. Especially single player. Give me a damn backpack for fawks sake. They over did the early access and now the game is just old with some small quirks to it. Time for Phas 2 for 2026

Can someone explain why did I kept dying while trying to light up the circle? I immediately died twice when I lighted up the last candle, but there was not additional animation or anything, I don’t think the ghost started hunting before lighting the last candle :/

you probably had only enough sanity to light 4/5 candles, but not enough for the last one. normally if you dont have enough sanity, the candle will imediately go out. EXCEPT for the last candle. if you dont have enough sanity to pay for the last candle, it will still light and summon the ghost. but instead of trapping the ghost for a few seconds (the ghost event) it will instead skip the event and immediately start a hunt. You need like all 100% sanity to use it, Its reallllly dumb and annoying, I always take a sanity pill before lighting the 5th candle just to be sure. Its also likely possible that the ghost DID start hunting even if you did have enough sanity to light them all, because withought pilling up in the middle, by the time you light 3 candles you are below 50% and after lighting the 4th you are in hunt range of all the ghosts. It is suuuuch an annoying cursed item to use.

Honestly man this game is getting OLD! The same stale maps, scuffed and boring ghosts, and half-baked concepts. Pass it on from me, Kinetic needs to unfuck themselves something fierce. We need new maps, a COMPLETE overhaul to the stamina system, removal/extreme extreme EXTREME rework of the bone evidence, more items, more ghost events/tells, more cultural connections for the ghosts (occasional friendly Jinn, demons not being able to kill the player if they're holding a crucifix, the mimic mimicking player models/voices, etc), an overhaul to the evidence system, perhaps even removing some of the ghost types. Phasmo is a great game at heart, and it has a lot of potential. The devs are just putting their energy in the wrong places. We don't need a few maps to be "overhauled" with useless clutter and aesthetics. WE. NEED. NEW. MAPS. Additionally, they NEED to implement a wider playtest system- Don't just have it be a closed circle of devs/friends. THAT'S an echo chamber. Offer it to random players or something. Additionally, we need incentives if they wanna keep trying "community" events. It can't just be a stupid little ID badge. The Player should actually have to PARTICIPATE in the event to get anything. Maybe have tiered rewards. I don't know- I'm not a game dev. I'm just a VERY concerned and disappointed fan. Bottom line: Kinetic needs to stop filling their game with useless glitter and WORK ON THEIR DAMN GAME AND LISTEN TO THEIR DAMN FANS.

My friends and I were playing this last night. We ended up getting 2 back to back shades and then a banshee! We got the shadowy figure with the summoning circle so it was an easy $5k!
