Looking at this you can see how so many other artists who came along years later could be influenced. I get a real Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper and KISS vibe. There is always that saying the first person to push the limits rarely has commercial success, it's the other artists who pick up on key ideas who seem to get the traction in popularity.

Saw him at a CND open air concert at Bethnal Green in 1970. Took all his clothes off except for his flaming helmet and ran round the stage trying to escape two policemen, who were trying to cover him with a blanket. All the while he was singing. Eventually they caught him and bundled him into a van. We read in the paper that he got fined and bound over to keep the peace. I was 16 years old and will never forget that gig.

I had a friend who went to a diner for brunch with his family after church on Sunday. He was ten or twelve at the time A bunch of other people from church were there as well. They had those little juke boxes in each booth, and he popped in a quarter and played this, as it was the only song he was familiar with. Not realizing it was five plays for a quarter he just kept stabbing the buttons for fun. The song kept repeating and people started staring at him. Finally it stopped, but as he and his family were leaving he pushed the buttons again just for fun and the song started playing again as they left. That's the kind of thing that makes life worth living.

This is one of my favorite songs from 1968. I was 10 years old at this time. They played it frequently on 93-KHJ AM.

I flew with Microsoft Flightsimulator 2020 over New Zealand and landed at NZCH Christchurch. Such a wonderfull landscape. Did you know, that the iconic landscape of Rohan and the small hill Edoras is built upon, is just 71 nautical miles west of it?
