People have been asking for it for quite and while and it is finally here. Gorilla Mind Orange Ice Dream has hit the shelves and it is their version of orange cream most commonly referred to as creamsicle. Was this Gorilla Mind Ice Dream energy drink worth the wait or will it fall short of the other orange creamsicle energy drinks?

I really enjoy how you do your videos, so dang informative. I totally agree about Reign. Do you know what happened and why they changed the flavor compound? I’m assuming they changed flavor houses…

Monster Reserve Orange Creamsicle is The Best Tasting one I had but The High Sugar is why I don't drink it too often.

Only flavor of Gorilla Mind I care for is Black Cherry Vanilla. The hint of cream at the end is everything. I am looking forward to this as I imagine Orange with a similar effect

Gorilla Mind nailed the black cherry vanilla. My company is making one better (hopefully 😂). Gorilla Mind products really are an incredible product. I think I buy their products by the truckload at this point hahaha

@@A-BombEnergy I'm always a sucker for anything Cherry. While I still prefer the old timer Cherry Coke. With my energy drinks and supplements, I am always looking for cherry flavors that are cherry with a touch of something different. Vanilla, Limeade, and Lemonade are all great additions.

Speaking of this topic I’m glad you’re doing a review on it but I finally tried the orange dreamsickle monster and holy cow. This thing taste just like what we used to call the two tone popsicle when I was little in the late 70s early 80s the orange vanilla cream. It’s absolutely perfect if gorilla mind could beat out Monster on this I will be shocked, but I will try it because I love gorilla mind

I’ve only had the gorilla minds that GNC sells, I need to try the other ones. My list for them is: 1. Exotic Kiwi (favorite energy drink for all brands). 2. Artic white (surprisingly good for a citrus flavor) 3. Black Cherry Vanilla (not a huge fan of this flavor in general, reminds me of a coke). 4. Strawberry candy (way too sweet imo) 5. Berry burst (tasted really artificial) Still need to try the orange I bought, I’m sure it will move into the 3 spot when I do.

I will try it if I see it but I feel like after drinking energy drinks for so long and seeing the market become insanely oversaturated, we've tried it all by now. Not a lot else to come up with at this point.

I don't know.... a lot of companies are still coming up with new flavors. Yes, they need to have their standard flavors that everyone knows and loves but there are still lots of new stuff compared to the old stuff. I know I keep getting surprised. I mean when companies come out with rainbow unicorns, rainbow sherbet, creamsicle, Skittles, Starburst, Swedish Fish... you just never know what they'll come out with next. C4 is doing a Hawaiian Punch colab.

I am sure this will be good, but I have heard some mixed reviews on it from Viking Zero and Opperman. I hope at some point I can get this to try but will probably be awhile since I don't have a Vitamin Shop near me, and they are the only places that has it. GNC will not have it I heard.

I think the creamsicle part is lacking which is what they were saying. Its still a super strong drink overall though.

I was disappointed my first not 9 for gorilla mind. I thought it was going to be a 9 plus. I wanted more cream I mean there is already an orange and a tropic so why not go over the top with the cream? 😑

I agree with everything you said about the flavor. The only reason it still scored high with me was because of the strength of the orange flavor. It was super strong... but I don't think it was a superior orange cream by any means.

I feel like Gorilla Mind could absolutely nail a Cola flavor. I liked Bang's Miami Cola quite a bit but there was something there that kept it from being one of my favorites. No energy Cola has come close to that one for me. I'm hoping Gorilla Mind comes out with a Cola, Root Beer, or Cream Soda.

Me and my family have done 2 blind taste tests on creamsickle. Reign won it both times for all of us. Ghost was second. We all thought Alani Nu was odd tasting and didn't taste much like a creamsickle at all. It tasted more like if you were to eat play doh, not kidding. Reign by far had the best creamsickle flavor. Hard to believe you have gorilla mind higher than reign especially if you say it's 80% orange flavor while the category is creamsickle and I Find Reign has a very even ratio and cream vs orange flavor.

As far as the creamsicle flavor goes, it is slightly less creamsicle than several of the others. The only reason it scored higher was because the flavor profile was super strong and the chart goes by strength of flavor, so in this case the score may be misleading.

Reign is hard to beat in Orange Creamsicle. They were years ahead of most others as well.

Definitely still think Reign, Monster, and Alani Are the top dogs when it comes to it because Im also a cream type guy. Might need to give this another go because I thought it was lighter.. hmmm okay Ill put another in the fridge no complaints 😂

A lot of solid creamsicles out there. I think this scored slightly higher because of its more potent orange flavor as opposed to being a superior creamsicle flavor.
