This was a very informative and concise video on collections. At this point it is two years later, but I hope this gets boosted for more pattern creators, or wannabe pattern creators to see. Great job! Thanks for the info!

Hi! Just discovered your channel and have found the information you provide is right up my alley. Sometimes the almighty algorithm really comes through!😄 Think I will getting in on that Affinity Publisher class you mentioned as well as one other. Btw, you are the first I've seen that uses Affinity suite in their tutorials which is Suuuper valuable! Thanks!👍

Thanks Lilly! I appreciate it and glad you’ve found my Channel and hope the videos are useful! Yes, affinity is a great tool and great alternative to some of the other brands out there! Right now most of my tuts are using version 1 but I have some coming soon that are for the newly released version 2 of Affinity designer, photo and publisher (for both iPad and desktop) so stay tuned :)! Glad to have you here - Jen

This is so helpful for starting my first few collections❤ how many colors do you suggest for a color pallete per collection??
@TheCreativeStudio111 ай бұрын
Personally, I think starting with a limited color palette can be helpful in keeping your focus on completing the project. 5 colors in a palette that you can use and repeat throughout your entire collection will create a cohesive look. Just make sure your colors have enough contrast between them so that your motifs don't get muddy or blend into your backgrounds. You can always increase the number of colors in your palettes as you get more used to designing, but limited palettes are a great place to start and sticking with 5 should give you a good enough variety. If you really want to challenge yourself try working with a 3 color palette and see what you can create! Thanks for watching. --Jen
