Awesome fly, one of the best "mop" type bugs I've seen. It sort of looks like a Carey Special, and that 3366 has been my favorite hook for over 30 years. Thanks for the video.

love the 3366, but you do have to sharpen them prior to tying the fly. .I use the EX Lap Hook hone

At the hardware store (or Dollar store) look in the kitchen mop section or in the automotive section where it is used for wash-mitts.

@@hankvana2149 temu and aliexpress has wide variety of colors under 5 per mit, i ordered a small rug from walmat to get tan mop flies 15 bucks will last for years lol
