I worked as an extra board trainman out of Alamosa in the early 80s. At the time, we would run all the way to Creede every other weekend to drop off empty gondolas and pick up loads of silver ore. All of the switches at Creede were stub switches. Good to see trains running down that way.

Interesting video. Never knew how many times the ownership Of this branch changed hands. I remember seeing a train on that section of track back in the summer of 2005.
