I am going to enjoy this. Why? In Canada Valiants with the slant six were strictly grocery getters that were slowly run into the ground and then scrapped. Nobody bothered to save them, especially the four door versions. They were once everywhere, and now gone. So it is very cool to see you fixing up one, and in a cool specification too.

The pacer was hemi six powered in Oz and were never a common car . I was in business years ago with a guy who two of them . They were quite the road burner if the exhaust was opened up and a decent cam fitted. Another big

@@Mercmad The 1969 VF Pacer was a 225 slant 6 same as the North American cars with a couple of minor tuning mods, the 1970 VG had the 245 cu in Hemi 6

My cousin has or had a two door similar model had a 215 straight 6 was told he couldn't change it until it died had tappet rattle but never died, smoked up great, seems to be coming along great, all the best to you and your loved ones
