Good tip for cooking 2 burgers in a 1 burger pan, place both burgers on top of each other, flip as normal (keeping them together) then just turn them round once browned so the browns on the inside then just brown the other 2 sides. Great video as always mate 👌 keep up the great work 🙏🏻

Great vid as usual Jason. I always watch a movie when I’m camping and my fav are horrors. I did the Blair Witch Project on my own in the middle of the darkest woods I could find in the Dublin mountains. I felt like a kid again, when movies properly scared you. 😂

Hi from Ontario, Canada! I recently discovered your channel and my husband and I have been enjoying binging your videos. A few questions if you don't mind: 1. So you don't have to worry about any animals and food? We have to hang our food or make sure it's in scent proof containers and stored back in the forest away from our site at night (black bears, and rodents). We don't dare cook nor have food in or near our tent, nor dispose of brown water near our campsite (oh dear god no lol). 2. Does it ever NOT rain there??? Do you have any trips where the weather is beautiful? 3. And I'm assuming for pooping you have to dig a hole and then cover it? We have to do that when on crown land, but if on designated backcountry park sites we have 'thunderboxes' (basically a hole park staff dug and build a wooden box around it with a hole and lid). 4. Don't you have to purify your water before drinking it? Or do you drink it right out of the creek? We have to use tablets or buy a water filtration system to bring with us, or boil for a long time to kill everything (not ideal if we want cold water to drink). Sorry for all the questions , it's just such a different environment than what we are used to. I can't imagine no trees for tarps etc.

Hey Sally, we have no animals to worry about here. Maybe red deer stags during rutting season might be a tad aggressive but otherwise we're good to go. It rains quite a lot in Ireland, it seems to rain every time I go camping but I've seen others get nice weather so I know it happens from time to time. I've been lucky with the weather on occasion but Ireland is so green purely because of our wet climate 🙂 This camp stands out in my mind as being one of those where the weather gave me a break kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIezgIp_p5yLbpo Pooping, you dig a cat hole and work away once its 30m from a trail or a water source. As for the water I take it straight from the lakes or rivers but I always boil it. For bigger hikes I'd use a sawyer water filter or a katadyn befree so that I can have water on the go. I've been to Ireland once and it was incredibly green and beautiful. You understand why it's called the Emerald Isle when you see it in person. We quite enjoy your videos and find your demeanor relaxing, refreshing and quite funny 😉 I'm cranky in the rain and cold, so it's nice to see you enjoying it regardless. You're like my husband...." It is what it is" If you're ever interested in the kind of domain we Backcountry camp in here in Ontario, check out Camper Christina's videos or anyone who does Algonquin Backcountry. We do a lot of canoeing and portaging. I think it's easier than hiking in, though, especially on craggy hilly terrain like you do, yikes! Until the wind picks up on a lake, then canoeing is scary 😬

I was in a local ancient woods a few weeks ago, found a great spot. So I decided to record my walk in. Walking out, I spotted what looked like a small grave, so I was thinking maybe a dog. No worries. But when I watched my footage back, I could hear these voices on one part. I haven't gone back since 😂 there's an old folklore story of there once being a monster (most likely a wolf) in there, so my imagination is getting the better of me!

I did try that once , horror movie "Mama " at loch lomond after a long weekend and everyone else went home on the sunday except me , well i didnt watch much as i was shitting myself just over thinking , ended up putting di😮sneys jungle book on to lighten my mood and never tried that again ,lol dont even watch horrors in the house no more neither 😂 , burgers looked great but iffy as fck making it in that little pan , brown sauce in your valium bottle 😂 and yeah you were close to getting washed away lad , great fun and thanks for the early upload ❤

I've no fear of the dark, I only use the lights because I record my camps and camera's need light. Otherwise I'd be quite happy sitting in the dark and just using a head torch when I needed it. I'm not sure what gave you that impression
