2 - the microphones arent there to pick up mysterious sounds they are there to monitor the ocean to teach us about our disturbance of unspoiled marine environments, even those more than 2km deep. The microphones just happened to also pick up this sound too. theres still no scientific consensus based on the bloop, the main reason there may seem to be is that people can tend to fixate on this sort of phenomena while other folks get on with their lives. but the best reasonable explanation is a large expulsion of gas from earths core coming to the surface from a deep sea vent

So the last sound is air leaking out of a solid block of rock or bedrock or some other sort of dense earthen material, that is being subjected to a rapid change of pressure or position thereby allowing a steady "drip" of gas to be released in a sort of rhythmic pattern. To scale it down, drop a bunch of different rocks of at least baseball sized, into a bucket of warm water and let it settle for a couple min, find a quiet place and listen to what sounds come from the bucket.

My cousin grew up in oakville and was there during the time of the unknown substance raining down. We used to swim at a local rock quarry in town and i experienced some bad physical reactions several times after swimming. Eventually the lake was closed due to radioactivity i often wonder if the contamination came from the gelatinous substance entering the ground and ground water. Its such a tiny town no one cared about the residents or getting answers for them besides a small unsolved mysteries story. Nowadays i see this story on KZbin a lot & wonder if this platform existed in the 90s if we would have got a real explanation.

The 'Bloop' sound, was nothing more than a guy named 'Reggie,' who unexpectedly fell off of a fishing boat while on vacation. Reggie was a large man, and was known for constantly farting quite loudly. The startling event of him falling into the ocean, was enough for him to let loose the biggest underwater toot ever heard. Now, it could be said that this is all conjecture. But I assure you, a well-made burrito can do strange things to the human body.

my dad grew up in a remote area on the east coast, a small fishing town on the Atlantic coast. wasn't much there but there was a small, and secretive military base that he later learned only had a very small number of people working there, and mostly women. Their job (and this was during the cold war) was to just sit with headphones on and listen to north Atlantic hydrophones.. ALL. DAY. God that'd be so creepy.

20:48 Heh. Slowed down it sounded like a passing vehicle. Played at normal speed sounds like a noisy flying plane, or the kind of sounds films and games would play for blizzards. I like this vid since it's not pushing some kind of mystery, and just telling it as is, with some musings. Many vids concerning 'mysteries' try to push some kind of unnatural, or suipernatural element to them. Those vids are super annoying to listen to.

The "Upsweep" sounds like an alarm going off. A siren styled alarm. If it were a nuclear powered vessel that's somehow gotten stuck, and never had a hull breach... Then its power supply could run for decades. Especially if all it is powering is an alarm, and potentially lights.

This content is remarkable. A book on this subject matter I read was also unforgettable. "The Silent Bridge: Echoes of the Unspoken Past" by Emma Wick

Would like to see the Bloop, Julia, and other strange recordings from both the sea and the sky being featured in the MonsterVerse (my guess is that in the MonsterVerse, they are actually the recordings of the sounds of kaiju).

Be funny if Julia turned out to be a huge fart recorded in a bath tub by someone from NOAA as the world's longest April fools joke.

I'm not so sure I don't know the whole story of planning Island but I'm not so sure there is a mystery it was 1900 it wasn't that hard to disappear then. There is a problem with that theory however Wildwood 3min all at the same time decide to disappear unless two of them murdered one of them or unless one murder 2

The first one was caused by Nikola Tesla, he didn't mean to do it. I'm serious, look into it.

There is no real proof that this is so, just some very suspicious coincidences that could *maybe* explain it if you squint with one half of your brain and don't use the other.

youre research is dated the airbirst has been ruled out as impossible due to no extra-terrestrial anomalies being found from soil or within any of the still remaining trees found on site. the explaination as to what happened is still a mystery, but the absence of lingering radiation also rules out a nuclear blast, the best theory presently is a kaiper belt or similar ice chunk. all things aside it is one of the most strangest things out there that we really have very little idea about

It very well may have been something to do with N. Tesla. It’s an interesting theory at least. Check it out if you haven’t heard about it.

The ocean is just creepy and weird. People always talk about how we hardly know anything about the ocean. No wonder though. That place sucks and makes no sense.
