There is also the vampire in lafayette Colorado that haunts the lafayette cemetery. Legend has it he was a coal miner from Transylvania and also a vampire. There is a tree that grows directly where his heart would be and its rumored to have grown from the wooden stake he was killed with, and his spirit still haunts the cemetary

I lived 2 blocks from this park. First time I went with friends and I had to leave to many dead people. I could see and hear them.

America. Where a haunting can reduce a house price. Smh.

Really? Nowadays I'd think that would Jack the price up.

I live right next to chessman park and I did see a woman with a flowing white dress appear and then disappeared after walking several steps with the dress slowly waving.

this gal trying to tell the history really sux at it. and if you've got something out there that has no problem killing dogs you need to get rid of it, instead of make money from it.

Unfortunately, the story about Undertaker McGovern (though very commonly repeated) is incorrect. McGovern was not dividing up the bodies as part of a money-making scheme. Rather, he was doing exactly what the city told him to do when they realized the only caskets they had available were children's caskets. Otherwise, pretty good reporting.

Of course people who believe in ghosts are going to have paranormal experiences. Have you ever seen that Ghost Hunter show? those guys flip out every time a board creaks.

Why would you want a haunted room in a hotel? You pretty much use it to sleep.

Though the seventeen and eighteen year old runaway girls murdered at The Baron's inn aren't named, I'm sure their spirits are much happier now. 💖
