I remember meeting you in game when TC2 launched. It was great fun just driving and flying around with you and others! I've played The Crew games since the very first alpha of The Crew 1, and rarely a day goes by when I don't play it. I keep telling people about the updates, how good it actually is and how much work they're still putting into the game, despite getting hardly love from Ubisoft Connect (especially the monthly Ubisoft+ rewards. There's NEVER been one for The Crew games!). It's so nice to see large content creators like yourself doing more videos on it. Thank you for helping to keep one of my favourite franchises alive! 💪

You're gonna like what I'm working on in regards to this game then (Granted.. It won't be done for a while) Ivory Tower deserves a lot more recognition for what they're doing. They've really pushed post release content to a level unmatched by very few. The only game i can think of with this much extra content is GTA V. That's insane.

Problem with Crew 2, is the way cars feel. it just isn't fun, at least for me. If I had never played FH, maybe I could love it, but unfortunately it's just not fun to drive cars about in this game.

Honestly, I really like crew 2 over Forza now. It's like that comparison Jeremy clarkson makes in one of the Top Gear episodes, between the Ford fiesta and Volkswagen go(I think it was called something like that). Jeremy says the fiesta is an incredible car, but he likes the Volkswagen.

it's definitely the most unique racing game right now - of course the graphics and handling are not really good, but there's just so much that adds up to it, i love just spending a lot of time driving in the giant world listening to music with some more "normal" cars (the car list is actually so good and different from most games) my main problem with it is the map is extremely repetitive - same buildings and the same road textures in every city, sometimes it feels like the same place everywhere

No FOV slider and not being able to turn off the visibility of the steering wheel are the things that keep me from playing the game. I want to use my FFB wheel and those things are a must have for that. 5 years and still those simple things are missing. Wich is sad, because the world of The Crew 2 is just nice. It would be so nice to cruise in it with my wheel.

It's a 50/50 split!! There's 100's of different tracks (Roughly 300+) all mixed between Circuit and sprint :)

Blizzard Rush was good, but NFS The Run has completely spoiled me for how a snow themed action race should be, especially Independence Pass. If only IT added ice sections to the road and test our dominion frozen skills but that wasn't done either.

Great video - with the game I pre ordered it but haven't played it since they added the police cars as I'm not a fan of free content where you have to play weekly or you can't unlock it, like the limited edition versions of cars should be early access and then able to buy them regularly just like the actual PAID season pass which ended up free cars but the 20% off was alright tbh. Make the content available later on anytime and just have plat rewards early access rather than Only way and I'm back playing.

@@ripusmen they're slowly adding the motorpass cars back to the shop. The only ones you won't have are the season pass exclusives, the summit exclusives, and the motorpass vehicles that haven't been put back in the shop.

First off.. Thank you for the kind words. It's just practice, I've spent most of my time playing the Horizon series really wanting to get as good as I possibly could, What I found worked for me the best, was picking 1 car "your favourite" and sticking with it as much as you can. Learn everything the car can and can't do and constantly push the car to it's limits. Once you get a really good understanding on how it works, You learn so much quicker with every other car (This also transfer to new games) It's like you automatically know what to do and in turn cuts down learning time with every game and car you play. I hope this helps.

I couldn't get behind the driving mechanics in The Crew 2. Between that, the very little amount of money you get for races (and high cost of cars), and many cars being unavailable after events it was an immediate turn off. I travel for work so I tend to have long periods where I can't play. I'll give it another shot though since I've virtually run out of things to do in FH5 besides replay my favorite tracks.

Pretty nice, snow flakes even fly against cam instead just straight down... They should only use better judgment on those on screen water drips, why ruin chase cam view with that in 2023? This use to be thing to show the effect when nothing better existed, but there is no glass shield following vehicle, it should be "clean chase cam view" not this fuzzy blurry filter ruining their improvements... still nice free update

Was literally just playing this for the first time this past sunday...and my concensus is it certainly has potential lol So first i'll start with the cons, being the handling sucks right out the gate, even slightly more than NFS Heat & Unbound to me...(certainly makes you appreciate Forza games 😏). Plus the ai is hella competitive even on the standard difficulty, relative to how it is on FH5's Hot Wheels dlc (yes, the dlc ai is more competitive than on the base game), but that's okay since i'll get used to it later. The many different modes to choose from gets quite complicated for me as well. Now for the pros, i absolutely love the size of the game, the drivatars personal interactions gives me major Test Drive feels and the vehicle choice is basically 2nd best to FH5 to me, but it still manages to seperate itself from all competition by the diversity of choosing a car one time, then hopping in a boat or plane the next...i literally feel like a celebrity in the game going on a tour! 🤩 And lastly, it seems like the coolest cars are unobtainable @ the moment unfortunately...much like the super rare cars from previous updates of Horizon games, hopefully i'll be able to get a hold of some of them itnf or atleast make an update where you add in some sort of auction house so newly joined players can get a chance to buy those exclusive cars when someone decides to sell it...cuz i NEED that Koënigsegg Gemera!

oh hell no, the way FH5 does it is exactly why i keep coming back every week to play a bit more, it doesn't waste my time with pointless grind, instead it gives me an excuse (new car of the week) to log in and play some more. And most of all, it doesn't ask money for it. The moment you ask money from me you better give me the thing you are selling directly, if you expect me to pay AND grind ...that is the fastest way to get uninstalled or removed from the Steam Wishlist before i even take a look at the game. I don't play games anymore that do not respect my time.
