Motorfest looks great its just missing 2 things the car dealers for each brand and the beautiful apartments and houses that TDU had 😎.

How does cockpit view look improved other than additional rotation on the wheel? The mirrors still don't work. TDU had this feature in 2006 on a larger map.

@Boston-qr4dw TDU had Ohau as well, with much less detail and road + less cars. How did it have a bigger map? Also, who cares if the mirrors work lmao. Everything is more detailed... watch the video - it's pretty obvious.

@DizzyMan24 You look far too old to be posting such an ignorant comment. First of all, TDU's Oahu was done at 1:1 scale, unlike this game. Second of all, not having working mirrors shows they haven't improved the interior enough. It also proves this game, was in fact, meant to be a DLC for the Crew 2. Of course this game is more detailed, it had a smaller map running on much improved new hardware. It took 45 minutes to circumnavigate TDU 1's map going full throttle in a stage 3 package Koenigsegg CCR. In this game it might take 20 to 25 minutes tops. People are too easily impressed, which is why games like this don't get the necessary improvements they need for a AAA title in 2023.

@Boston-qr4dw When I play the closed beta later, I'll get in my fastest car, and we'll find out how long it takes to run a lap of Ohau. I played TDU 1 when it came out on both PS2 and 360. I still have my 360 copy and half TDU2 as well. They're some of my favorite racing games. My comments not ignorant at all. If I want to look behind me, I look behind, I don't use the mirror. Totally pointless thing to complain about.

There's something about this build that seems a bit more desaturated but more photorealistic. I like it. Or is it just that some game modes have vibrant artsy color filters applied like in the trailers from Ubisoft? So far my favorite looks in this game are this desaturated one, and the 60's Kombi sepia filter.

Yeah that's the crew's gimmick. Special races, or thematic races have a filter over them, in the regular races and regular driving everything looks natural.

I see that the physics of driving is something in between the crew 1 and 2. Cars seem to be rolling on glass, sharp turns without a hint of suspension and inertia, when jumping, the car seems to be magnetized to the ground. I'm disappointed with physics

@@TireSlayer just tried the open beta eeh.. my feelings are mixed, it just feels like a copy and paste of crew 2 but with better handling and SFX and a bit better graphics but still 60 fps locked :c i checked and all of the customization options are the same, i was hoping for material changes on rims at the very least. not to mention they cut out the nissan silvia s14, r32 and evo 9 or at least from the beta but im not sure because most new cars were in it. overall i wouldn't buy this game, dissapointing.

Car handling is better than The Crew 2, but not as satisfying as Forza Horizon 5. It's getting better, I hope some day they can be closer to it. Forza Horizon really needs a quality competitor.

sorry, i really don't want to complain. I think that motorfest does some things well graphically and in terms of setting and better than the predecessor, also the better cockpit looks nice but what in the hell... I can't understand at all is how you can find such plastic empty cities in the game with the hardware that is now available. Of course it's only a beta, but I think we all know very well that, despite the beta status, no major changes are to be expected in the finished game either. Those empty streets... for me a smashing argument not to buy the game and then those poorly detailed cities again....oh ubisoft...WHYYYYYY???
