It wasn't that he was "forgiven". In fact he was widely hated for a little while afterwards. The problem is that both he and Jake have been able to resurface and make massive profits with their absurd publicity scams every couple of years or so. After the Forest incident, Logan's big thing was KZbinr boxing. Then he did (and still does) WWE. Now it's Prime. Jake followed in a similar path, but instead of pursuing WWE he's stuck to boxing and occasionally gaining publicity due to the fame of his opponents. They are utterly despicable people, but they are able to recover because they sort of ride off of the amnesia that happens to the internet every couple years as outrage dies down. They know it full well and they both have enough of an insane work ethic to show up in the limelight, disappear due to the backlash, recede, then repeat.

I was a big fan of Logan Paul in 2016, I was 12 - 13. Looking back at that part of my life is really crazy to think about. I remember waking up for school and watching the logan paul video about the dead body. I was so shocked. After he went on hiatus I remember going through a small lil withdraw like I miss logan I want to watch a new video. Thinking back I am so SO glad that he took a break from uploading because it was almost like a drug that I recovered from. After the break was over I couldn't bring myself to be interested in his videos. I am now a senior in college, a film major with a human rights minor, a political activist, a lesbian, and all around a better person. I have always said that the reason why gen alpha are the way they are its because of these two. (It might not be true but i think it's funny.) These men are terrible people and I am ashamed that I ever fell into the allure of their content, but I'm glad I did because the growth as a person that I did after them was immense and i'm proud that I woke up from the nightmare that was the paul brothers.

I remember when they were at their peak back in 2016/17 i was like 25 years old and even i fell for their stuff. I thought the colorblind glasses were real, i thought the clowns stalking them were real, i never bought merch but i went on the site a few times. It was truly fascinating to witness. They were probably the first youtubers to elevate from KZbin to business owners, just a shame they went about it in the scummy way. But if i fell for it at 25 a 13 year old would have no chance of knowing how scammy they were.
