He's one of the reasons I decided not to become a lawyer. I can't in good conscience defend someone that I KNOW committed a serious crime like murder, and I can't prosecute someone I know is innocent. But, a defense attorney has to, by law defend his client to the fullest and try his best to get him off, even if you know he's guilty as hell! The same goes for the prosecution. Even if the evidence says the person is innocent, you have to do whatever it takes to send them to jail. Court has become nothing more than a stage with actors. When you go to law school, the better ones even send you to acting class. Trials are not about who is guilty or innocent, it's about winning or losing. It's a game. It's disgusting and sickening. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I either sent an innocent to jail, or set a murderer free to do it again. But, if your client says "yeah, I did it. But I want to plead innocent", then you have no choice but to try your best to get him off, by law. Otherwise, if it's found that you didn't try your best, you can go to jail. If you're going against an innocent person, you know damn well is innocent, but the DA says I want him to go to jail, you do your best, or you lose your job and will never work in law again.

Then there's the fact that the actual justice system sides on criminals more often than not, which I feel is leaning on one side for some fucking reason, and you'll realize that this man is just one of many. @@Avastea_talk.-3248The fact that you obviously are tied to politics (the meme trump pfp) but are operating under the assumption that these people are guilty is actually quite funny and stupid. You automatically assumed they’re guilty. Ironically, people like you is why defense attorneys are needed in the first place

bro, law is a man-made. like every other man-made stuff, it'll never be perfect. the justice system is imperfect but without it the world will crumble. at some point we have to make sacrifice, and that sacrifice is giving EVERYONE a chance at the trials. not guilty until proven so.

Yeah the lawyer really needs to get the treatment that just a few of his clients gave out to their victims.

Accused ≠ Guilty. If the case can be dismissed, the proof is often not enough to get someone convicted, even if sometimes they actuallt did it. Everyone on this video is not guilty, keep that in mind.

@dianabrennan8856 it is, and it's better to uphold the whole constitution than just the ones certain people think are worth upholding. Having the right to counsel is just as if not more important than having the right to bear arms. If you want one constitutional right that fits you and your narrative then you need them all.
