Hello, friend. A Rohan campaign, I really hope that you are good with cavalry, mate, as the infantry is a bit of lackluster... Actually, Saruman did you a very good favour to attack you straightaway, because this way Eomer will come to you soon. I agree that Fangorn camp is a priority target, as this will stop a recruitment hub to attack you to multiple places and stomp you. This way, the front will be entirely ficused on Foldburg, which is a rather good defensible settlement and your whole army can focus there. I would also dispatch a force for Tirith Anduin, as it is part of the Wold, which means your territory and you have to be there before the Elfs of Lorien. This way, your northern border will be secure, as Celeborn can focus on Dol Guldur, while you focus on your two primary targets, Isenguard and Dunland. And now, as I promised a story, here we have it: The news that Eomer was banished from the King made many in Edoras furious. But Eomer talked to many before he left and he was rather quick to ride with his guard in the position of Fangorn. No news arrived to Edoras about his final destination, albeit Grima's attempts to uncover him. And it seemed that the news were spread with more speed than what Grima wanted, as well as the reaction of the generals was not what he anticipated. Eowyn stayed by the King, as as to help the man that she viewed as her father. Eomer didn't talk to her, but a very meaningful sight was in his eyes as he departed. He knew very well where Eowyn was at the time, as she looked out of her window - and Eomer's expression was indicating to her. Grima doubled the guard around her, but nothing extraordinary reached him. If Eowyn was playing him, she was hiding it very well. News came that Rochburg fell to the Kingdom, as the Riders suppressed the bandits that had taken control of the whole north. However, even more grim news came, that Uruk-hai attacked in Foldburg and Gineard. Theodred quickly siezed the power there and ordered the army to turn back, while he personally was the head of the force assembled from Westfold to defend Foldburg. Though Hama fell in the battle, when his guard was isolated in the gate and he stood firm there, but the Uruk-hai were simply too many. Nevertheless, Theodred was more successful, as his riders managed to cut their way through the Uruk-hai, broke free and came back. Then, the Uruk-hai tried to run after their captain was killed, but on no avail. "Nice fight", the captain of his bodyguard said after the battle. "We managed to defend well here". "Indeed", Theodred replied. "However, this was only the first wave. More will come. And we have yet to see the true commanders. Did anyone report Lurtz or Ugluk?". "No, my Prince", the captain replied. "They were not part of this army, as we didn't see their banners". "They will come", Theodred said. "And with powerful forces". "How will Eomer react?", the captain said. "The King banished him for no reason and he left. One of our most capable generals is out of the battle". "Don't be so sure", Theodred answered immediately. "He's doing his own part. I left without the permission of the King, remember? And I am here in Westfold for a reason. Eomer's mission was to stay by the King and try to alleviate the wizard's influence. It was him who discovered the role of Grima... But of course Grima would counteract and banish him - or at least he thinks so. In fact, I can't imagine Eomer more happy, as he's free to muster secretly our forces and battle Isenguard. I sent him message and I think he'll send our forces to Fangorn Camp - I suppose he's very close to there". "There is the fear that the Wold will be undefended", the captain said. "I feel that the bandits in Tirith Anduin will ally with Saruman to attack us from the north. All our lands can be stomped". "You're right in this", Theodred answered. "Erkenbrand from Hornburg also said me this exact thing. In my message, I passed it to Eomer and I hope he acts so".

Rohan is a great DAC faction for its strong cavalry, I think a lot of the big setpiece battles can take place with Isengard, Helms Deep.. Then you can go and save Gondor from Mordor

Target Isengard first for sure. Once they are gone you can more slowly take on Dunland, building up your lands economically.

In Eur the Garrison buildings just increase your free upkeep slots. You don't get the infinite free defenders like v5.
