Also, I was part of the Myspace generation too and luckily had nothing to do with the internet as a teenager. Once I made an intentionally terrible video campaign because my classmates forced me to run for class president and I was determined to fail. One video involved me wearing an entire outfit made of tinfoil and talking through a Risk figurine, the other was a horrible satire about 'having the right to self defense' where someone stole a stuffed dog and they proceeded to beat the heck out of the thief. I was trying to make the most obvious points that were so dumb no one wanted to take me seriously. "Vote for me if you like shiny things." "Vote for me if you like to defend yourself." I did fail to a more serious candidate, as I hoped, but I was forced to scrub fake blood off the sidewalk by our mail boxes in the fallout. Thank god I have those on private and no one can ever see them again.
