its very clear that this dude has an unhealthy lifestyle but honestly, the stuff he was listing for his skincare were not bad or excessive at all. they're super common products and while you might not "need" them, most people who follow any sort of skincare routine have these things in their routine as a MINIMUM. two cleansers, a toner, a moisturizer and some hyaluronic acid is honestly not much at all. i don't think it should be seen as gay for men to want to take care of their skin. of course, the commonality is that currently, more gay men have skincare routines than straight men, same goes for makeup, but i don't think that should mean that it should stay that way just because it is. its natural for people to want to look good and if a tiny amount of makeup or some skincare does that for a dude i don't think there's any shame in that. if anything, its great to see a human being put effort into their appearance and health (despite this guy being unhealthy in literally every other aspect of his life). while you do have great skin and likely don't need many products if at all, using that unfamiliarity to say that this dude having like 5 products is weird when it simply isn't, is in my opinion, a little unnecessary. but to each their own! that's the only criticism i have for the video lol otherwise great stuff as usual :D just thought i'd point it out.

I personally don’t even care about the gay accusations I just think if he had something approaching a normal sleep schedule and a healthy diet/ hygiene most of that crap would be unnecessary. If makeup makes you feel more confident I’m all for it but I don’t think the idea of putting dozens of unnatural products on your face should be normalized and considered essential for good skin. Of course there will always be extreme cases where some of these products are necessary for a person to have “good” skin. I just don’t like the idea of clever marketing insidiously planting itself in the psyche of potentially insecure people making them feel like they must have a ten step skin care routine in order to have the baseline of most people who use nothing.
