As of now I believe Dr. Spencer's book is the closest we have to it for the Quran, all under one cover. Thank you for posting this interview. I have a copy of The Critical Quran, and it was great to hear its author speak about it. This is one of the most important books witten this century; I hope it becomes well known amongst the general population. As a scholar myself, I was particularly impressed with the extent and quality of the references and arguments included in the study notes.

The Qur’an verse they quoted says: “Fight those who ATTACK you, but do NOT aggress, for God does not like transgressors”-and then the passage says “and kill THEM wherever you find them”-but wait: who’s “them”?…It is the AGGRESSORS mentioned just 1.5 seconds ago! Yet they ignore the first verse and skip RIGHT to the next one while ripping it out of context. This is truly embarrassing. I cannot believe the awful level of reading comprehension at work here. This alone makes me know that his book is nothing but a bunch of propagandist baloney. By the way, the next verse which says “Fight them until there is NO MORE OPPRESSION-and the religion becomes WHOLLY for God!”-clearly means that getting rid of the oppressors will allow you to practice your faith FREELY and ENTIRELY to God alone, RATHER than under the CONTROL or Tyranny of the oppressors (who limit and restrict it)! That’s why it says “Al-Dīn KULUHU” (The whole RELIGION)-NOT “the whole EARTH” (ardh) as the man falsely said, which doesn’t even appear anywhere in the text! Watch out guys-these people are literally deceiving you, and you can read the passage for yourself to know that they’re speaking lies. And the cherry on top is that the passage (which they hypocritically DID NOT read) literally ends by saying: “If THEY STOP, then let there be NO MORE HOSTILITY!-EXCEPT against the Oppressors!” (Sūrah 2:193) How could they “stop” if it’s not defensive? Think!

does it contain the arabic text? does it have the gold leaf calligraphy of the Quran on the back page? does it have the foreword of the recitation of hafs? it should. if it doesn't then that will certainly be an improvement, second improved version, that I'll buy also. I hope mr. Spencer also provide a few pages summarizing the surahs/ayat that refers to jihad, to death to apostates, to the creation myth, flat earth, where the sun sets, abolishing adoption, mut'ah, to the abrogation of the peaceful topics, the chronological sequence of the verses, - a summary of topics. that will be helpful to people who listen to cp, ap, and jay smith to counter dawah people

Mister Spencer and mister Al Fadi have you (both) read "The Disjointed Letters in the Quran" written by Rachid Ghmari? In this book the writer takes a look at the underlying structure of the Quranic text with respect to the disjointed letters and uncover its essential aspects. What follows is a part¹ from this 'project' so everybody can see that there is no limit to the length some muslims are willing to go to make up so called 'proof' to right a wrong in the koran! ¹2.2. Surah 7: Al-Araf بسم هللا الرحمن الرحيم المص كتاب أنزل إليك فال يكن في صدرك حرج منه لتنذر به وذكرى للمؤمنين “Alif, Lam, Mim, Sad A book sent down unto you, so let not your breast be narrow therefrom that you warn thereby; and a reminder unto the believers.” The meaning of this verse, according to early Quranic commentators, is: “We sent down the Qur’an so that you may warn the disbelievers with it, and let not your breast be narrow, meaning, ‘do not have any doubt about it, and be patient’ in conveying it to people and warning them against any deviation.” However, in this verse, we can see that Allah (swt) refers to the Qur’an as “a book,” without using the definite form “the book” as it was the case in previous surahs, like Al-Baqara and Al- Imran. Also, the verb “send down” is in the past form. This could be translated to, “Alif, Lam, Mim, Sad, a book has been sent down unto you,” which may imply that the reference made here is to this specific surah and not to the entire book. Hence, Alif, Lam, Mim, Sad would be a combination of letters associated with the specific surah that was just revealed to you. We can infer that the three-letter combination, Alif, Lam, Mim, and the four-letter combination, Alif, Lam, Mim, Sad, both occur to remove any doubts about the authenticity of the Qur’an. The distinction is that Alif, Lam, Mim is associated with the entire book, whereas Alif, Lam, Mim, Sad is only associated with surah Al-Araf. 🙃🤦🏻 GOD HELP US! 🙉🙈🙊

In Islam, the jizya is not a “State Tax” whereby everyone living within the state must pay. A Muslim is not to pay the jizya, because a Muslim is a superior human being. Quran 3:110 reads, “You (Muslims) are the best of people ever raised up for (the benefit of) mankind.” In Hadith Riyas as-Salihin 1839, Muhammed explains Quran 3:110: “The best people for mankind are those who bring them (mankind) with chains around their necks till they embrace Islam…” * The jizya is an “Inferior Tax” imposed on inferior human beings - mainly Jews and Christians who must pay the jizya in willing submission as a sign of their commitment to embrace their inferiority to Muslims. Anything short of total humiliation and submission on the part of a Jew or a Christian to accept a Muslim as his superior in terms of humanity automatically invokes the capital punishment - beheading. * Today, Muslim apologists and debaters around the world are confused with anger as to why Jews and Christians refuse to accept their inferiority to Muslims; especially when Allah who in Quran 3:54 referred to himself as the “Best of Deceivers” has told Muslims that they are superior human beings to Jews and Christians. * Again, in Islam, the jizya is not a “State Tax” whereby everyone living within the state must pay. A Muslim is not to pay the jizya. The jizya is an “Inferior Tax” imposed on inferior human beings - those who Allah turned into pigs and monkeys.

Maybe the "Alif Lam Meem" [i.e. 'A-L-M'] thing in Sura 2 is the Hebrew triliteral root-word, which has a number of distinct forms. Adding the Masoretic vowels in-between the letters '-L-M, we have: 1) 'aLaM : to bind 2) 'eLeM : dumbness, silence; silence of justice 3) 'aLeM : tied (i.e. tongue-tied); dumb (as a permanent bodily defect) 4) 'uLaM : porch [see 1 Kings 7:7] 5) 'uLaM : but [see Job 17:10] = 'uWLaM Are there similar Arabic words that are spelled Alif-Lam-Meem with differing vowel sounds in-between the letters? I wouldn't know, myself. Maybe somebody here has a better Arabic dictionary than I have, and I find it extremely hard to differentiate the Arabic letters from each other -- sorry, but it looks like chicken-scratch to me, and I wish I could instantly understand it, at least like I do with the Hebrew alphabet, which is much easier to read, i.e. to differentiate the letter-forms. Hebrew has 27 letters -- i.e. 22 plus 5 final-forms -- whereas Arabic has 28 letters, but with there being 3 forms for each, an Initial, Medial, and Final form, for a total of 84 different letter-forms, many of them looking so much alike that I just find it hard to differentiate them. Anyway, maybe the Prologue [Sura 1] is meant to be seen as a "front steps" passage to the Qur'an as a sort of 'building' with 113 'rooms' in it [i.e. Suras 2 through 114], so that after walking up the 'front steps' you reach the "porch" -- the 'uLaM, spelled Aleph-Lamedh-Mem in Hebrew = Alif-Lam-Meem in Arabic -- and then enter through the 'front door' into the 'building', into its first chamber = Sura 2. Just a crazy thought -- that's probably wrong, but what the hell!

The Critical Quran - At last ... A carefully researched and translated Qur'an that is without deceptive translations. Clearly the "mushrikuns" so often cited in the quran, often translated as "polytheists" or "associators" or "idolaters" refer in fact to christians who believe in trinity (meaning that they give "associates" to God, which is considered in islam to be the worse sin called "shirk") ... and not at all to so-called "pagans" or "idolaters" from Mecca. Moreover historians have established that there was no more polytheism in Arabia in the 7th century as most Arabs, especially in cities, had been christianized. Therefore the famous "verse of the sword" (quran 9:5) " kill the "mushrikuns" wherever you find them..." means "kill the christians wherever you find them ..."

I respectfully disagree. I have taught others to speak a language and they have learned the nuances because they are intelligent and diligent enough to research. In any case, with respect to Qu'rans (I used the plural because there are dozens of versions of the Qu'ran), I have very dear friends that are native Arabic speakers and so read Arabic (modern and much older forms...they are very well educated) and the Qu'rans promote satanic practices.

So much deception! The Qur’an verse they quoted says: “Fight those who ATTACK you, but do NOT aggress, for God does not like transgressors”-and then the passage says “and kill THEM wherever you find them”-but wait: who’s “them”?…It is the AGGRESSORS mentioned just 1.5 seconds ago! Yet they ignore the first verse and skip RIGHT to the next one while ripping it out of context 🤦‍♂️ This is truly embarrassing. I cannot believe the awful level of reading comprehension at work here. This alone makes me know that his book is nothing but a bunch of propagandist baloney. Oh and by the way, the next verse which says “Fight them until there is NO MORE OPPRESSION-and the religion becomes WHOLLY for God!”-clearly means that getting rid of the oppressors will allow you to practice your faith FREELY and ENTIRELY to God alone, RATHER than under the CONTROL or Tyranny of the oppressors (who limit and restrict it)! That’s why it says “Al-Dīn KULUHU” (The whole RELIGION)-NOT “the whole EARTH” (ardh) as the man falsely said, which doesn’t even appear anywhere in the text! Watch out guys-these people are literally deceiving you, and you can read the passage for yourself to know that they’re speaking lies. And the cherry on top is that the passage (which they hypocritically DID NOT read) literally ends by saying: “If THEY STOP, then let there be NO MORE HOSTILITY!-EXCEPT against the Oppressors!” (Sūrah 2:193) How could they “stop” if it’s not defensive? Think! And with that I ask Robert Spencer and Ql-Fadi, their likes: As people of the scripture, why are you lying? Why are you mixing truth with falsehood? Why are you knowingly speaking falsehoods against God? And why do you try and create stumbling blocks for people who believe against God’s path, and twist it around, while you yourselves are witnesses? Every American should know, then, that If Jesus is Lord, it stands to reason that Nature's god is NOT. Yet, Nature's god in the Jefferson Bible and in the so-called 'Declaration Of Independence" claims just that... And this is the official position of the American government because Thomas Jefferson was the 3rd President of the United States and is the one who penned the so-called "declaration of independence" which became the Law of the land in the Constitution. Nature's god in the Jefferson Bible inspired the "Bill Of rights" and specially the First Amendment which states that every religion under nature is as valid as the next; this is why polytheism and Idol worship enjoy special protection under Natural Law which pushed out Canonical Law or Sharia Law. Nature's god states that Jesus did not resurrect because there is no such thing as resurrection of the dead; men die and worms take care of their bodies and that, most surely, wild dogs took care of Jesus' body. Nature's god claims that there is no supernatural, no miracles, no virginal birth, no revealed Law since Laws are a construct of societies and each society makes its own laws in accordance with its need. That the Ten Commandments were not revealed and are no better than the Law of Hammurabi. For Thomas Jefferson, the Apostle of Nature's god, Nature's god instituted government on earth to distribute rights without responsibity: right to liberty from morality, right to pursue happiness, happiness for all(We wonder how government will enforce happiness which is not a tangible good), and right to life... Paul, Jesus-Christ's Apostle to the "Pax Romana," on other hand instructed us that Government was instituted on earth by God to keep order, render Justice for the equality of the Children of God in view of the Last Judgment. Nature's god insists that Life stops here and that there is NO immortality: "Let's eat and drink for tomorrow we die, and nothing awaits us after death. Don't be missing out..." Jesus said man was born corrupted and can purify himself with the means God put at his disposal. Nature's god however holds that man was born perfect but got corrupted by government. We wonder If all the jails built across their lands are only for members of government. Nature's god is truly Satan who set out to contradict the True God on every single line! So If you are an American you should worry about the subversive nature of the American founding documents, America's Nature's god, and the fate of your impious founding fathers who worked hard to mislead mankind away from the Gospel. Moses and Jesus both received Scripture. Moses received the Torah which is a Revelation from God. Jesus received the Injil* which is a Revelation from God and not authored by men as widely believed of the current Gospels. Whatever is authored by men is not part of Revelation. * The word Injil is closer in pronunciation to the word Gospel in other languages. The original Injil/Gospel is only one book. There are various Gospels with differing accounts believed to be authored by various men at various periods of time. What is the actual message conveyed by Jesus? Which Gospel is closest to the original actual Gospel and how accurate are they? And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book (Al-Quran) in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it.... (Al-Quran 5:48) O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is over all things competent. (Al-Quran translation 5:19) The Quran is ensuing and latest Revelation and it acts as the Criterion over the current Torah and Gospels. Anything from the current Torah and Gospels that alligns with the Quran would be closer to both the original Scriptures that included the one received by Jesus, wether it be in the original language it was revealed, translations or interpretations. The message of Revelation from our Creator is for mankind that includes the Jews and Christians. Just as previous Scriptures, Revelation includes warning mankind of their errors.

But as for those who disdained and were arrogant, He will punish them with a painful punishment, and they will not find for themselves besides Allah any protector or helper. O mankind, there has come to you a conclusive proof from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear light. So those who believe in Allah and hold fast to Him - He will admit them to mercy from Himself and bounty and guide them to Himself on a straight path.
