You are a wonderful addition to the online piano teaching community. Your content is unique, no one else out there is doing it like you. Nice to have you back after your "break." Great content, sincere and effective delivery, quietly authoritative. Enjoying your content, trying to incorporate as much as possible into my practice/playing. Very nice, soft delivery. You are distinguishing your self/content by more than just the one with strong Russian accent, which is also fun for us.

David, I am sorry for not being able to reply to all your comments, but I assure you, I read them all. And appreciate every line. This whole month has been nothing but a nightmare for me. First, recovering emotionally from the loss of a close person, then weeks (!) of fever...and still moving around for just few minutes cost me all the energy...mostly in a lethargic state all the time. Hope to come back to videos in September..thank you for your support these days.

@@pianotechnique No worries. I will continue to proceed through your videos and learn what I can. I'm sorry for the recent difficulties/challenges. You are a breath of fresh air; take what time you need to restore yourself. You seem like an emotional, sensitive person; I know what depression and/or physical/psychic pain. I've been there more times than I would care to. Don't worry about responding. I'm pretty verbose and will get the responses I should at the right times. Thank you for your respectful concern. I'm learning a lot of new stuff, helpful techniques and practices that solve real problems for a more advanced, not as much as you, player. I may leave some comments that others will pick up on; specific learning techniques. I only follow the best teachers. I know the difference. Thanks for the reply. All the best.

Thinking about my pieces (involuntarily) take up about the same amount of time as physical practice. It has to lay a good foundation, I imagine?

Not yet so with me. Probably need to do more.

@@pianotechnique Respectfully but strongly disagree. Great technique is applicable to any style, the imagination, the depth you talk about, all apply. I play almost all arranged jazz; there is more to piano music than "classical" masters. What you are teaching, I'm finding readily applicable in my playing/practicing approach. I was trained in the classic method in singing, migrated to jazz styling as that was not enough for me. I do like the shift to digital pianos, to which the great majority of players are migrating.
