@@ciandunphy7888 Exactly this, these people seem unaware of the actual facts given, he was caught out because he was tested alongside the rest of them after the event, not just because he was assumed to be doping. Had they done it in the past, they weren't doing it immediately before or during the events. There is a cycling documentary, where a cyclist doped to see how many places he could jump up, it hurt him, he was literally was not as good a cyclist after a year. They are tested and it doesn't mean they will do well should they cheat.

Heads up to any crossfitters watching. The casters talk a lot about how to breathe. Every strongman ever holds their breath during the entire yoke and farmer's carry.
@hotwalnuts78102 жыл бұрын
That's not even remotely true
@cdn1588 Жыл бұрын
That's because the strongman gets to have a nice long break after a carry. These folks go nonstop to the next exercise and then to the next and so forth. Breathing is extremely important. You hold your breath you are bound to pass put. Guaranteed.

Right up to the 1st hand stand walk... Don't get me wrong he's got some severe power in that body. But in this competition as it is, in it's entirety, Brian could not keep up with the 40th place finisher on the ladies side of things. But then again the strongest male CF competitor has little chance against Brian on his playing field.

Scott L. Royal thank you for making sense. this is exactly what some people dont understand. true the mountain, shaw, hall, they wouldn't even break a sweat dragging the sled or logs or yoke at all. but can they do handstandsm muscle ups? its an entirely different discipline. its like comparing a gun to a knife. obvisouly a gun is better but what happens when you run out of ammo? give everyone their due.

You must be rich to prepare this event. Many people can't access those equipment.
@kirstybrown11852 жыл бұрын
lots of the athletes don't practice on specific equipment, they create something similar, most however train at a CrossFit gym, they provide the equipment and you essentially pay a gym fee, like all athletes do, I don't actually understand why someone would think you cant train without personally owning specific equipment. It is one of the cheaper sports to compete in overall and the costs only become high because of the time needed to train, most have this as their sole job because they don't have the time to hold down a full time one, so will earn money through competition and endorsements. Apart from the Mat Frasers who has rich parents, most are pretty average in the financial sense unless they own crossfit gyms.
