Right at 46:24 there’s a girl in blue that doesn’t do the burpee after the clean and doesn’t get called out. I wonder if she was penalized at the end, or if she got away with it. 🤔

1:02:20 she did not do the burpee after throwing the ball and judge just watch her.

Pretty sure you don't have to do a burpee on the last one, mens heat 2 winner didn't do one either

Is it just me or do all of these "different" events always have some issue where the competitors don't seem to know what the heck is going on.
@SoundsLikeaPlanOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Thomas Foley Dave Castro thinks it will be a “better test of fitness” if the events and rules aren’t announced ahead of time. He doesn’t want people training for a specific event. I understand his line of thought. But i think it would be more equitable to the competitors if the rules and standards were known earlier. Making judging and rule enforcement more uniform.

Is it just me or did Jamie Greene miss a burpeeon her last rep? She just tossed the cheese curds over, jumped over and ran to the finish

Yep, you heard wrong...he said 450m over 5 rounds is well over a mile which is absolutely accurate. 450m x 5 = 2250m 1 mile = 1600m

Lol the fact that 3 girls all have Dottir as the second part of their last name😂
@kathpender3 жыл бұрын
That’s because in Iceland traditionally your last name is determined by your father’s or mother’s first name followed by “dottir” (daughter) or “son” (son). In this way your last name will be parent’s first name + dottir/son.

@brokenpixels84447 жыл бұрын
zigutia athletes got busted before these exact games so they are in place
@PainterFRO6 жыл бұрын
They are all randomly tested..Even during the games. 2 Teams and individuals were suspended before the games for doping. 2 masters got popped during the games and the 3rd place finisher in the mens division tested positive at the games for a banned substance and was stripped of his finish,prize money and suspended for 4 years. Sounds like control to me. Are there people beating it? Im sure..Just like every other sport.

The guy who won this event IS the one who has been tested, disqualified and banned (Ricky Garard) games.crossfit.com/article/ricky-garard-disqualified ...
@ritzafrancois48636 жыл бұрын
It looks like you still can compete even though you've been tested and results havent come back yet. Thats messed up. The idea should be that you cant compete unless your are clean. Crossfit needs to fix this.
