I wanted a source accurate movie, because I loved the original film and I don’t want a remake of that. I think there’s enough different between the comics and the original film to have done it really well. This looks like another Crow extended universe thing, except she calls him Eric. No corporate subplot is necessary, the comic is a story of random evil and revenge.

In the original comic book series Eric didn't have a last name was only ever referred to as "Eric" same with Shelley too. The Brandon Lee Crow movie invented their last names

Bill skarsgard does amazingly no work and so far this trailer sold me and can’t be any worse than Crow Salvation and Wicked Prayer. I’ll give this movie a shot as I really like his different iterations of characters he portrays.

Ok, so the original crow is my favorite movie of all time. It's what i and a lot of people consider a gothic masterpiece. This one looks a little less goth and more like a comic book movie(which the crow was a comic book first), but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I definitely don't think it needed to be remade, but I'd rather them do something different then just give us a weaker version of the exact same movie (looking at you disney). Also, the original isn't going anywhere. So, best case scenario, this movie ends up being good, and we have 2 different versions to enjoy. Worst case, it sucks and we can always just rewatch the original

He takes a thousand bullets, plays dead, then kills them DP style. This is a total rip of DP in emo mode. 1 crow he took shots because he had no fighting skills and knew he couldn't die. This is not that. I get they are trying to be more like the comic in this sense. But when we already have 1 and DP... they need to do better.

First off this is not the Crow. This is Jared Leto's Joker. Also Brandon Lee will always be Eric Draven. Want to make a Crow movie. Choose another character. Lose the tats. Bring back the white makeup with the black lips and eyeliner. Add some more physical fights. Imagine a goon shooting the character. The character unfazed. Walks up to the perp and beats the crap out of him / her. Any goon can use a gun. Imagine the character using fists, knives or a sword. That would be cool. Also make the dude an ordinary character. Not a musician want to be. A guy and a girl working an ordinary job. Maybe a could of junkies who have reformed and are trying to get their lives together but find themselves at the wrong place at wrong time.

This is just lazy. Brandon Lee's potrayal of The Crow, Eric Draven storyline will always be the best.

I have faith on this one. The comic book character was very censored in Brandon's film. Brandon did agreat job, but Bill Skarsgard has proven to be a fantastic actor. More gore and visuals is what this adaptation needed. But I support the fact that music must be more gothic and maybe photography should give us that dark vibe like in the first one.
