The intent behind prometheus and covenant was not to bring back the franchise or to nearly imitate it, it was supost to be just a origin story on the questions we all had about the franchise, and i dont care what you think the movies are perfect and this one is going to be awesome

The part I hate about this trailer is that I have liked pretty much every single Alien movie that I've seen... Alien Vs Predator not too bad either but not as good. But what I don't like is that now, even though the show has always had a Female lead, now when I see a female lead I have to figure out whether she is in the movie because of her talent, or their quota. Because of all the DEI in hollywood I will rarely see a movie on release because of it.

If u didnt see the very end on the this teaser this will come to theaters in August 2024 which means this year and only in Theaters which is good because originally due to lack of budget on this film it was slated to be a tv series on the FX Channel also known as the Fox Movie Channel so rest assured this will be only Theaters ;) ❤

I was pretty sure this was going to be awful, given the history of the modern Alien franchise (Prometheus had a lot of promise, but Covenant was a total mess), but.... This looks quite good. As others have said, it looks like they are trying to go back to the roots (at the very least taking inspiration from the first two films). I am now cautiously optimistic.
