Thought I'd cry less watching it a second time after saw him in Romeo& Juliet, but my heart still exploded.... probably bc I'm a mom of a no also exceptional young gay man, movie wrecked me! They were both beyond incredible!

@@joanneweiss3864 I've watched it just about a dozen times and it still moved me to tears. I think it touched a lot of people of all sexual orientations because it's essentially a story about the redemptive power of love and how it can transform an essentially broken person into someone who will try to be a more sensitive, more loving person and also open up to allow someone to love them. Johnny could have been a straight man, a straight or gay woman, a bisexual, a nonbinary, an asexual, etc and the plot would still work. At least that's how I see it. Also, thank you for being such an awesome mom who views gay love as any other love and is touched by it!
