Just looked at online Calibro 700 owner's manual. That Gates Carbon belt only needs tension checked every 3,100 miles and you can do it yourself with a free Gates app on your phone. You pluck belt with an open end wrench like a guitar string with your phone next to it and the app tells you tension. Awesome and so much easier than a chain.

Another cool-ass video. TY I wish the Kawasaki 500 (450) Eliminator had a better looking engine. The shape/tank are more sleek than this Rebel-angled tank. That said, Moto Morini has managed to make it all work beautifully. Wish more makers would use those standard-position pegs like the Eliminator; Not a fan of forward controls (I like to stand over major bumps).

Here in France the baseline model is at 7500, not really well priced in the market, so it's probably gonna be a flop, Wich is kinda sad, but tbh, even the rebel 500 is at that price tag, and let's not speak about Indian or harley's. Cruiser in general are overly pricey here for some reason

How would 18x9 -13mm wheels with 33x12.5 tires look on a truck? Will they stick out a lot?
@MOTOPILOT626 күн бұрын
33" tires on trucks fit and look great. sticking out amount depends on the wheels

Is the Calibro water-cooled? I believe a lot of air-cooled bikes, like the Bolt, have less horsepower when compared to a water-cooled bike.

Moto morini has been active for years, but people rather go for mainstream brands who charge double for basic setups. Same for CFMoto build cheaper bikes but reliable and are really active in the ofroad scene.
@MOTOPILOT62 ай бұрын
Moto Morini was established in 1937, and hit the USA in 2023. You can trust Moto Morini with their confident 3-Year Unlimited Warranty. First valve inspection is at 25,900 miles. That should say something about reliability and build quality.

What do you mean high power bikes with horsepower and torque need chains not belts. Every single new Harley and Indian with 100+ horsepower and 100+ torque are belt driven???
@Scape9742 ай бұрын
Don't forget their mass, they have 100+ HP but are heavy as fuck
@MKBENTOT2 ай бұрын
@@Scape974 ya and do just fine with a belt opposed to a chain for the past 20 years……..what’s your point?
@MOTOPILOT62 ай бұрын
I wouldn't classify 100 hp as high. Considering an Aprilia RSV4 comes in at 217hp. Point being belts have limitations, which is why there are chain drive kits available for the higher powered v-twins.
@MKBENTOT2 ай бұрын
@@MOTOPILOT6 never ever seen a Harley or any big v twin with belt drive have a problem due to horsepower or torque. Engine and electric yes but belts nope. You get a slight loss in power with belt vs chain. But belts are way less maintenance last 2-3 times longer than chains. Yes there are chain conversions kits……. for performance , not because belts don’t hold up 🤷♂️

True but this Morini looks great. The angle of the tank does take some getting used to but the overall package works. The engine and surroundings are custom-esque.

Looks are subjective. I own a rebel. Love the looks. The rebel sells super well for Honda so clearly lots of people love the looks.
