Thank you! I will almost certainly start a new series for the actual story since I was made aware of the fact that several of the bug fixes needs a new save to be applied. Since I enjoy the game a lot, that is not a problem for me though 🙂

Nope. None of your videos have ever disappointed me. I have lost sooooooo much sleep to this game and have felt the excessive pressure from the start to get things done. But the learning curve is huge. Sandbox is where it is. Oh, once you have done the mineral scan thingy with your rover. Use the mineral icons at the lower right corner of the screen to see the rainbow scale of concentration for the selected type. Then send the MDR to mine the regolith. Then assign a cargo truck to bring it back to base to the Cargo Center. From there belt it down to your Regolith Refinery for processing. I'm looking forward to a buss system for the Expedition Center and Flight Control platform. Carry on being you!! Cheers!!

Thank you so much for the kind words, and the tips! I agree that the learning curve here is pretty steep, and I also hope that the asteroid event is an Early Access thing only, or that they'll adjust the costs substantially, since that is just punishing now in a game that is otherwise very relaxing and calm to play. 🙂

I think they laser quest should be reserved for hard mode only we spend so much time to set our factories up idk about others but it makes me not want to play at a certain level. Great video's you showed me some new ideas keep up the great job!

While I enjoyed the series, I started this series after this video was out. It would have been great if somewhere along the path it was clear "This series was cancelled before we got to end-game". Maybe I would have started the new series and not spent 17 hours or so getting invested here. A few things I would like to see in the new series (which I will promptly start watching!): - The "splitters" as you call them. All of the belts going in should be the same speed as the outgoing belt, otherwise the "splitter" pauses to wait for the slow belt to deliver the resource, which causes a jerkiness and gaps in the resources. You tried debugging this multiple times in this playthrough, but it seems like by this episode, you still hadn't figured it out. - Would love to see you using the belts to go above ground, so that your drones don't need to deliver all of the resources every time there is a new cargo pod. - Don't be afraid of the colonists. You had the "production" stuff figured out in this game ages ago. You were missing out on an entire facet of the game by letting "perfect" be the enemy of "good". I hope you don't mind the requests from a backseat commenter who has never played the game :) Overall, a great series, completely understand why you didn't finish it. You shouldn't do something you don't enjoy and it seems like it would have been a grind.

Great feedback (Although - it's a bit of a pain to have to go back to redo thumbnails to mark them as "ended" or "before end-game", and while I sympathise with your mild irritation over just that, it's also something that's very often a "given" when it comes to Early Access games. As for your feedback: - Yep! I figured out that the splitters work in clockwise order and that all belts need to be the same speed regardless of input/output sometime sometime later out! - I didn't get to that .. sadly. Explanation below. - Yeah, that was also the plan for the next series... I do not mind the requests and feedback at all - quite to the contrary I appreciate them a lot! So.. the next "series" is just 2 episodes. I mined out a lot of the underground and was happily plodding along thinking "This is going to be great!", and then discovered that the game just doesn't handle that AT ALL yet. I literally had 1-3 FPS, and that was just unplayable. So I'm waiting very, very eagerly for the optimisation patch (Which the devs are working hard on) so I can start a new series (I'm almost 100% certain it'll require yet another restart, since several of their patches are - for some reason - not backwards save compatible. I find optimisation of belts etc not being backwards compatible a bit strange, as I haven't experienced that in other similar games in this genre - but if that's what it takes, that's what it takes. I love the game so...)!

I’m a little disappointed, honestly, because I think you may have a set-up here that could handle it. (As in, you produce so much and could conceivably afford another truck and upgrades to all the modules for speed). That’s more a testament to the great job you have done here moreso than just me having left comments before on the series that the chill vibe in this game was not going to last haha. Regardless of how I feel, I will watch the new series with great interest. Maybe to give the sandbox some goal in mind you could point out as you build some of the strategies you are learning to be able to produce 1200 components or 1000 modular frames etc. I worry that a sandbox series in an early access game just doesn’t have the goal in mind that something like your Anno beauty build will. This was a great first run, though.

Thank you! My main issue, as I talk about in EP1 of the new Sandbox series, is the high level specialists. I have a little more than 5 years to get all the stuff I need to make people work and level up, in addition to all the resources needed for the laser. I think I would have a good chance to actually pull the building parts through, although the modular frames, carbon fiber and nanotubes are daunting... But the specialists that need to be high level? That one I strongly doubt I could pull through without actually playing around with how the people work. And that is a major part of why I want to go to the Sandbox. 🙂
