Thanks for the video! It answered a few questions I had about gear other than the saddle. I just ordered the Cruzr XC "super kit" and cant wait to use it.

Pulled the trigger on this one about a week ago. I'll be using it when we move back to the U.P. next year for retirement. The one thing that sold me was when I first saw it was the way it was shaped for sitting. If I'm going to be in a tree for extended periods of time then I want something comfortable. I ordered the kit for $620 so I should be able to try it out in the off season. What part of the state are you in? Was born and raised in the Keweenaw Peninsula (Hancock). Can't wait to get back home. Thanks for sharing, I'll give it a like and a sub. John.

Chad made me one before he started Cruzr and I love it. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles like yours but it was less expensive also. I also made adjustable bridge on both side using amsteel continuous loops on each side and used the rope that came with it as the bridge. Was way to long so made 2 of them and I use them both so have a backup if one were to fail. Subscribed ! Thanks for the video.

I have only hunted out of a mantis. What did you not like about it? Mine keeps riding up to where there is no support under my butt. Constantly pulling it down which = movement in the tree.

Thanks for sharing your great opinion of this game👍. It’s exciting for us anyway because we are truly bow hunters in each year. We’re looking for the ways how to get better ideas for hunting.

I’m less than an hour from these guys here in TN, so I definitely plan on getting my butt in one to try. My biggest concern is if all that mesh doesn’t stretch too much to offer support for long sits. Seems like if the mesh stretches much at all, the straps at the top and the bottom would create some pressure points, but I’m new to all this. Thanks for the review.
@michiganroots80454 жыл бұрын
I have no issues with pressure points but everyone is different. It is more like a hammock IMO. If you are that close I’m sure there is someone that would let you try one out. GOOD LUCK and thanks for checking out the video!

How do you like the saddle puches?
@michiganroots80453 жыл бұрын
I like them but they tend to collect burrs. Some people don’t mind it but it is kind of annoying to me. I may change up to something similar to a cordura pouch for next season.

Boe, I would recommend the size 3 (36”-42”). You are at the top end of the size 2 (32”-38”) but with clothing on you would be pushing it past that size limit for the size 2 I think.

@michiganroots80454 жыл бұрын
Steven, I 100% agree with that decision. Bigger is definitely better. You can always cinch it down if its a little big. You can’t make it bigger if it’s too small.
@HighHunting384 жыл бұрын
Just received one but have not had the chance to use it yet. Last year I used the Aerohunter Flex which I was very happy with, but just holding the Cruzr it’s much lighter and less bulky. The HYS strap, I wish company’s would not use any orange on products, I know that some states might require orange but I’d rather add my own orange if needed. Also how are you liking those Shikar sticks? Need to purchase new sticks this year. Great review.
@michiganroots80454 жыл бұрын
Rich thanks for checking out the video. I am really liking the Shikar sticks so far. They are a really small profile and quite light. The offsets bite into the tree like and alligator. The price scares a lot of guys away as they are expensive but the quality is great and I love that they are American made!! Thanks again.

Good job man. I’d highly recommend grabbing one of the adjustable amsteel bridges from him. He’s got a video showing how to install it after the fact. It’s the best bridge design on the market, as far as I can tell. And it allows you to cinch it down as you walk in and when you put your sticks and platform on the kydex clips.
