What you captured in your video is fantastic, but the frequent appearance of comments makes it difficult to focus on both reading and watching at the same time. Consider reducing the frequency or duration of the comments so viewers can fully appreciate the visuals and storytelling you've captured, which are more engaging than the written information. Alternatively, you could add comments in a less intrusive way, like subtitles or a post-video breakdown, so viewers don’t miss out on the amazing footage while still getting the necessary information.

Spent a few nights at an airb&b in Havana, right across from John Lennon Park. We were about 10 minutes from downtown old Havana. Walked many of these streets. The people were awesome, everyone was so friendly. Best way to see Cuba for sure. Also, our accommodations were excellent. The woman running it was named Celia, if I remember correctly. She did a great job of making us feel right at home.

I lived in Havana when I was a kid --- 7 and 8 years old. That was in 1956-57. My (Canadian) dad worked for an American tire company. We lived in a penthouse on Paseo. I went to an American school a few blocks away. We spent the first few weeks in the Hotel Nacional. It was the arrival of Fidel that prompted the company to send us to another country: Belgium. Very different. I have fond memories of Cuba. I now live in Australia.

The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren; And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram; And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon; And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias; And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa; And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias; And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias; And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias; And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon: And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel; And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor; And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud; And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob; And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. (Gospel: Matthew - Chapter 1)

As an Italian American from NYC, one of my best friends was Cuban. We used to go out at night and then stay at the apartment uptown with her Mami and Papi. They took care of me, fed me and were wonderful people. They taught me how to Salsa. Cuban and Italian people are very similar in their hand gestures, zest for life and family unit. They also came here around the same time and came up around the same time, although the mafia factored in and sadly some of my uncles and some of her family became casualties of all that. Also the Catholic upbringing with all the candles and statues lol. All in all, pretty much the same. My mother would be like “where are you staying?” And my dad would be like “don’t worry she’s staying with the Cubans, Natasha’s family” 😂

@@jakub8860 This prayer of calling on the Lord Jesus ( Rom.10:14 ) tells you what to believe to go to heaven : Lord Jesus, I repent; I admit I'm a sinner and I am truly sorry. I do not trust in my own works to go to heaven because I realize, being a sinner, I cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that you require to pay for sin. Instead, I now fully trust, believing in my heart, that your finished work on the cross, your perfect blood sacrifice, when you bled, suffered and died, in my place, paid for my sins in full, past, present and future. And I believe that you rose from the dead and that you are God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore !!! And so I fully trust that you will forgive me now by cleansing me from all sin in your precious blood, which purifies my soul. Thank you Lord Jesus for loving me so much, for forgiving me, saving me from hell and giving me everlasting life and sealing me with the Holy Spirit dwelling within me forever !!! This the socialist system the oligarchs of the usa, and globally have tried forcing our country into. Where the infrastructure is decapitated for most citizens, but not for the 0.1% of course. They expect that we should make sacrifices for their claims of climate change 🤣 but they with their carbon footprints of hundreds of people, will never sacrifice their private jets, their mansions, their yachts, their meat etc. And so the people globally rise up against their straight up lies, and BS. And their attempts to lock us down through fear tactics under complete control, and compliance to their global tyranny. As the leader of the WEF stated "you will own nothing, and you will like it". All the oligarchs plans laid out in his Klaus schwabs book "The Great Reset" where experts we pay say what we pay them to say. Or they won't receive further scientific funding. They have tried, but are failing because we the people of the world are onto their nefarious plans for humanity. Example: Brazilian president Lula just announced that any Brazilian seeking to receive government assistance, will be required to take any required covid jab. Enslaving the poor, and vulnerable Brazilian people Lula, brought to you by Pfizer.

I loved Cuba as a free traveller. After a few nights in Havana, I took a car to Vinales [$35] and had a wonderful stay in a a hotel overlooking the landscape. Then off to the beach for a few nights before returning to Havana and a really hot night with a thirty piece band at Casa de la Musica. The main highlight of the trip was the openness and friendliness of the people and the live music and dancing in every bar. Highly recommended for the single traveller.

In my opinion, without the embargo Cuba would be in a much better situation. Historically speaking, any country that tries to deviate from capitalism gets choked with economic sanctions from the US so that they can't succeed. Socialism doesn't mean no trade in itself, but actually seeks to put an end to unfair trade, low wages and exploitation. And seeing how Cuba has very successful public education and healthcare systems, money isn't everything you need to take care of yourself under those circumstances. Greetings from Brazil 🙌🏼
@skaruts Жыл бұрын
@@RomuloTheBrazilian Castro stopped many imports and trades, not the embargo. Cubans were also stuck in Cuba up to 2013 (Cuba was basically a prison). But either way, you're still grasping at straws to try to make socialism sound not-so-bad, parroting the same old fallacious talking points I've heard many times before. Dude, their economy would rise with or without sanctions if it was a free economy. Understand this: people are the ones that generate wealth. But for that to happen, the government must get out of their way and let them trade freely. In other words: let them import cheaper goods, and produce whatever is more economic and higher quality, etc. You want higher wages? Then let people trade freely. When we trade with each other, we both get better off, because I give you something you need, and you give me something I need. We are enriching each other that way. (Wealth isn't measured in money.) Socialism always drives the economy down. Socialism doesn't generate wealth, it only consumes it. For the state to give you what you need, it has to take from you the payment of its costs. And this is where you find unfair trades. For example, Cubans are paying the government for housing, and what they get is deteriorating housing. They're not getting better off from that trade. That's the definition of theft. And there is some socialism in the western world driving taxation up, and I find it interesting that many people are homeless because they couldn't keep up with tight finances, because they had to pay 30-40% of their earnings in taxes to pay for what the government is "giving" to other people. Socialism doesn't bring you higher wages. It's brings you misery. As it's been observed countless times already. Socialism is really nothing more than a system of monopolies, oppression and theft. It only sounds good in emotional-arguments. Also, Cuba would have a successful education and healthcare either way. You don't get to score that as a socialist achievement. (If you want, I can explain to you more clearly the difference between trading and theft. They are fundamentally the only two ways to get wealthier, and socialists don't ever understand the difference. Put simply, when you trade, you enrich yourself by enriching others. When you steal in some way, you enrich yourself by impoverishing others.)

Salud NEYDA y suerte.

I may sound strange to some but the Colon cemetery in Havana was probably our favorite stop. One of our taxi drivers was a doctor before deciding to give up medicine to drive tourist around Havana because he could earn more. I would like to see the access to Cuba from the US relaxed again, I'd be the first to sin up.

Cuba is even worst that I could see in the Soviet Union in the beginning of 1950th. Nice and mentally impaired people who brought to themself the misery that they endure right now. It was them who wanted to live under the Communist dictatorship, like we chose our way of life in 1917 in Russia. I hope that theirs "mental treatment" is close to its end.

I went to Havana in 1975, it was part of a cruise port visit by the Alexander Pushkin. It amazed me how all the buildings were painted in pastel colors and the city had a strong smell of diesel. There were mobile porta potties on every other street. I never knew if they were for tourists or for the Cubans. You could not go in a restaurant unless it was at the established meal time. I mistakenly took a city bus thinking it would make stops but it didn't because it was an express. The hookers were freely approaching the male tourists walking in Havana.

It may be nostalgic and all, but I've been working with a landlord for over 1 1/2 years, doing repair jobs on his houses, and if you don't continually keep up the maintenance on any building, they become fatally dangerous: even if they don't collapse, mold/mildew can develop, insects and rodents can build their homes into the walls, chew wiring, leaves feeces. I knew a woman who died from breathing mold fumes.
