That “portrait” they mention is a reproduction of Frank Sinatra’s 1938 mug shot and a copy hangs in just about every bar in Hoboken, New Jersey, his hometown. He was arrested for “seduction under the false promise of marriage,” charges were later dropped.

Um okay, smart kid but all she is doing is solving the cube to correspond to the image she wants to create. The real talent here is how patient she is in assembling some of these large art pieces. Technically we all can do this given enough time.

@@Joe-sg9ll Exactly. I mean there are kids who can do more talented things. One kid can take thrown out tech and make it work. Another kid at 12 makes money in the stock market.

A story about a rich kid. Yawn.
@dora.78732 жыл бұрын
Whether her parents may or may not have money does not in any way detract from her unique talent and impressive work ethic. It's so easy to be dismissive and judgmental. But let's give credit where it's due. How many 16- year-old kids are willing to work this hard and able to achieve something this remarkable? And how do you know she's a rich kid? That is purely an assumption on your part. Maybe her parents went into debt to buy her all those Rubik's cubes because they believed in her talent. We don't know. But now that her artwork sells for tens of thousands of dollars, she can pay them back, with interest!
@joeybaseball73522 жыл бұрын
@@dora.7873 yes it does. There's a reason rich kids are skiers, and poor kids are basketball players. If I asked my parents for 1000 toy cubes, I would've gotten a beating.
@dora.78732 жыл бұрын
@@joeybaseball7352 Again, unless you've seen their tax returns, you're ASSUMING an awful lot. But even if her parents are rich, all the money in the world could not buy genius like that. Their daughter has a unique talent that cannot be taught or bought with money. Most of the world's famous artists came from humble beginnings, so we know wealth doesn't create talent. And if YOUR parents literally would have given you a beating, that's very sad. I'm sorry you grew up in an abusive home. By the way, there's nothing wrong with being a basketball player. I don't think Shaquille O'Neal is complaining.
@joeybaseball73522 жыл бұрын
@@dora.7873 it's not a unique talent. There are literally tons of speed solving cubers. I know at least people who can solve one in under 30 seconds. And there's thousands more. Even I can solve a cube in under 5 minutes. And she's not the only one who does cube art.nor is she first. My friend Wendy Diaz also does this. And there's hundreds more people who do this exact style of art on tiktok. But they're not hanging in corporate offices because they don't have rich parents.
