Been loving this series, I'm new to Tarot and there are some great decks that interest me but it also makes me what to choose my decks very carefully so I don't get too many. The FOMO is real though! Love your videos :) Your soul is so bright and full of love.

I loved this series. It has been so fun to watch. Wish I had seen it a month ago. I need to do the same, it feels overwhelming but I love how you just got rid of decks you weren't using anymore. I have too many I don't use.

Fun fact, I've worked with R. Black personally before! I worked for a nonprofit that hired him to do poster art for our annual fundraiser. He is an artist local to my old neighborhood in Berkeley. I'm honestly not surprised to hear that the production quality was really bad because the guy... well, he's difficult. Not to just trash him randomly but I'd say he really has one and only one interest, which is painting/drawing what he wants to draw. And any of the other parts of being a professional artist (the business parts, print quality, formatting, working with others) is not really his interest or strong suit ^^;

Interesting, I had heard something similar to this right after the deck was released. The thing that’s too bad is, it’s a really beautiful deck with some really interesting and powerful takes on the RWS imagery. So if the production quality was equal to the artwork it would be a stellar deck that I would use all the time. Feels like a missed opportunity and an overpriced one at that! I appreciate your insight on this!

You're almost at the top of the mountain, Liz, don't give up -- you can do it!! It's like exercise, it may be hell while you're at the gym but you'll feel great when you're done and driving away.

Found this super interesting. I only really found tarot during lockdown. Got great respect for tarot. Loved your collection. Good job decluttering. I didn’t have a big collection but am decluttering. I feel like it really has helped me zoom my readings in more ❤❤. That circular deck looks great 😂. Breaks my heart when people say they don’t use a deck 😢 and exactly like you say - about not wanting to use a deck cause it’s ‘to good’. I got rid of my Kickstarter wandering star for this reason & got the mass market so I don’t feel guilty. I’ve been buying some decks now from Facebook market place and the decks are new ❤❤ so I guess more people just buy without using. Oh my gosh I have felt like an idiot to and don’t buy Kickstarter anymore, I just wait as eventually people do sell them cheaper. I sooooo love your passion & love for tarot ❤❤. I’m soooo happy you spoke about modern witch. I just bought it second hand for $15 … and have been waiting for it.

12:15 I have done this exact thing with a RWS deck, but I also kept other random pieces from each card which I keep in a separate bag. This way I can draw one or more from each set (round pieces + random pieces) and come up with some really kooky new combinations! I posted about it some time ago on IG but haven’t done any such readings lately. You’ve inspired me to go back to this set and play with it again! ❤

Oh! I love that idea!!!! I kept the Albano Waite pièces because just circular cut outs and then I placed them over other decks to see what would show through! Now, if I can just remember where I put them!!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I will say, I've never seen the Kickstarter version but the mass market Fountain is very well done, same style box. I ended up re-homing mine as I just didn't use it, but it's a really well made deck.

Moon Baby is probably my favorite RWS ever. I made one of those square RWS. It was a fun experiment! Your Carol Herzer story is so amazing. I feel like after so many years, I have gotten and given some amazing decks. I know there's someone out there who would LOVE to have SKT 1. I have been curious about Keymaster, I think it's gone mass market. Always wanted to try Relative tarot, maybe that's the deck I need from this cull. I remember that tiny (bad cardstock deck) it's beautiful, looks like screenprints. Too expensive, yowza.😅

Yeah, Moon Baby is lovely, such great cardstock!!!!!! Damn, that R Black deck was a disappointment!!!! But some of the cards are so beautifully interpreted and I’ve gotten over my sense of getting ripped off. I might as well enjoy the deck!
