One of the few songs that distracted me from studying at dental school back in the 90s along with few other songs like black hole ☀️ by soundgatden, at that time I’d skip a lecture or even exam to get fulfilled musically.

Hey guys, love this song. But couldnt help notice the top comments here. I feel for the guys who have lost their culture. Im a proud Maori from New Zealand but we came off real lite compared to the rest of the world, unfortunately whats left of our culture is sold for tourism. As people we have lost our language, land and spirituality, we are treated as second class citizens. But we continue to fight for what we were cheated out of. Keep fighting brothers, and keep it alive!

Yes, that is a very interesting bit of history as well (As an aside, I am really into Norse myth). They have also found some settlements in Greenland as well. The movie PATHFINDER is an interesting one. Keep warm, John Ps. Clarification for other readers: the oldest ruins and artifacts referred to above are those of non-North American origin. The oldest ruins and artifacts would be around C. America.

Native-American, european, asiatic, whatever, anyone here cames from the moon or mars? No, right? what is important is that we are ALL human, all races are human beeings, lets start to think like we are just one, share the love and forget negative thoughts.

**Please tell that to the elite activists, journalists, professors, billionaire funders and politicians from the current political left! They are all pushing an ideology that is based first and foremost on the superficial esthetics of personal identity! They are preaching that the thing that matters most in everything, is which race, gender, or sexual preference you belong to. It's all about the cultural Marxist doctrine of categorizing everyone first by those criteria, then shoehorning people from those groups into either group: A. Victims, or B. Historic/contemporary oppressors.** After that politically motivated bullshit is indoctrinated into the gullible masses, members of the alleged "victim group" are convinced that they are STILL being victimized in a very big way, every day, by group B(evil oppressors i.e.. white people, men, heterosexuals etc). Then they brainwash group B, that they are somehow, unknowingly causing the great oppression of group A, AND that they should hold guilt for past oppressions(slavery), simply because of their white identity. Of course, the way to rid yourself of all that guilt, and to "make amends for your 'privilege', you must simply vote for leftist candidates, constantly be apologetic, support leftist causes, always support spread radical leftist ideology, and never question or criticize radical identity politics!

Stop apologizing. It was history not your fault. I am a mixed breed. And can tell you there is nothing more annoying than people apologizing for something hundreds of years ago. And the truth is being mixed blood U just chuckle. Bit up here in Montana. The full bloods laugh at that shit. You know by separating us saying because I'm part Indian is something special is racism itself. I hated that shit as a young child in new schools. We are all humans. If you knew the true teachings, you would know that we don't like to be separated or stood out. Because in our teachings all are one. Nodifference. All are brothers and sisters.

Cheyenne took Kiowa land, Crow took it from the Cheyenne, Lakota took it from the Crow, Lakota lost it to the US. Apache (and I'm 1/2 Apache, so don't say I'm ignorant or racist!) took Navajo land, Mexicans took it from the Apache, who took it back from the Mexicans, and lost it to the US. Shoshone took Ute land, lost it to the Blackfoot, who lost it to the US. This was a never ending cycle before the Europeans arrived. We should be upset over the loss of our culture/traditions, not the land.

No, it was you I meant to post my answer to. It's easy to say don't dwell in anger, let it go, the past is gone. Your ideas are not faulty or even wrong - however: as historyhmoobguy said, Indian people have had to endure all sorts of things in the past 500 years, anger and resentment isn't going to cure the issue - but what makes this situation worse is the historical ignorance of those who don't realize what was done (and that's white people). We have to begin the healing (and I am European).
