One detail I noticed (that I’m not sure if it was on purpose but if it was then it was genius) This episode is the classical parody of the Tom and Jerry show, with the protagonists trying to catch a little mouse/rat but their prey always outsmarts them using their tiny size to their advantage. In the Werner Werman boss fight, Cuphead and mugman basically invert the roles by shrinking themselves just slightly shorter than Werner himself, so basically the whole fight was him trying to kill them with his multiple mechanisms which all end up failing and back fairing (he tried to throw a rocket but the arm broke and exploded in his face, then his flamethrower get stuck when he’s eaten by a cat) then that cat who was a robot also fails)

Well the battle could go either way. Since the howling aces can fly and Katzenwägen can summon rat ghosts. Also for those wondering; "The Howling Aces could squash Werner since he's a mouse." Considering Cuphead is still in his normal size (Probably?) During the Werner boss fight, He and Katzenwägen must be HUGE. Werner would be like Pilot Saluki tall and Katzenwägen would be as big (if not bigger) the dachshund plane (i forgot the name)

Werner was inspired by Mortimer ( a mouse from mickey mouse) and a dog from a bosko war cartoon. (dog is very similiar with werner's face, helmet, ears etc)
