The fact that Cuphead kept saying "Mugman" is just...wow, you can FEEL the way he's basically broken over how his brother was taken to heck and that he'll do what ever he can to get him back. Also people are going to be incredibly happy when they reunite with each other, and I'm so excited to see the new episodes of The Cuphead Show on November 18th on Netflix Ahhh ✨☕❤️

Maybe it's just my imagination, but it looked like mugman was imitating cuphead The "oh,oh" before the spaghetti question ,how in the "eww..." he elongated the words and in that frase, i swear it was literally the same intonation that cuphead uses Also being friendly might be mugman nature as in the prision episode, but puling the lever,the carefree,frenetic cheerfulness,the silly and reckless questions, it all SCREAM cuhead to me We saw mugman scared in the end of the last episode, maybe he's trying not to freak out with the situation, mimicking the behavior of the person that he in his mind would be brave and "not too worried about it"

First of all because he and Mugman have kept the events in secret when they disobeyed him by going through the carnival. Second, because it was Cuphead's fault that The Devil take Mugman after stealing his Pitchfork and if Elder Kettle had known what happened, Cuphead would not only be in trouble but it would be very dangerous to risk his grandfather. So Cuphead had to do it by himself and save his brother...

He's a kid, who is going to fight THE DEVIL, the most dangerous creature in the whole world, without the moral support that he (and Kettle) needs right now. Judging by the original game, their grandfather supported them and even gave them the magic power of the potion, that was probably all he could do at that moment, and the boys themselves went to fix the mistakes.

@@createzone248 you're right, but i guess the writers want that Cuphead learns his lesson after being a big jerkass in the second season. I mean in the first season he was okay and had his moments of brotherly love with Mugman, but in the second season both fight too much, like too much. And at the end of the season 2 finale he's shocked that Mugman, the person he loves the most is gone. So now is time Cuphead do everything he has in his hands to save Mugsy!
