I like how they didn’t give Chalice a dramatic death, it was just done and over with, which was probably the most realistic death scene without being bloody in a cartoon. Her origin story was surprising to me, I expected it to be that she is an adult that died a long time ago because that’s what it’s like in the dlc, but that is a whole different universe.

I feel like the strongest positive of Season 3 of the Cuphead Show is how it seems to be getting closer and closer to the game while also holding it's other strong trait of comedy and characters. The *theme of making a deal with the devil* to succeed in life or to have a second chance at it is really prominent in the game while also being introduced in the show. Ms. Chalice's backstory does this job perfectly. Her origins show that she had a passion to dance but unfortunately was killed when things were finally looking up. She felt like she wasn't done with life, as her life was finally peaking to it's highest. So, she made a deal with the Devil to have a second chance to continue following her passion to tap dance while also having people who actually care about her in her life (Cuphead and Mugman). But the theme doesn't just stop at dying like Chalice. Another character, King Dice, was finally at the top of his game until his peak of success and fame started to *die.* Not the character himself but his success ended too fast for him. So, he ended up going to the Devil's side to be prominent in his career once again. He might not have did what Chalice did but in the end, he belongs to him. The season just goes to show what the game is really known for. *Don't make a deal with the Devil.* You might get what you want like power or a second chance but in the end, it's gonna cost you something important.

I'm really surprised they were allowed give chalice such a realistic death. She just got straight up hit by a streetcar and they made sure to show the collision, and later have her witness her own corpse rot away and reduce her to bone. This is why I think the show walks the fine line of a kid show and a show for young adults.

I found this interesting little detail with the devil - The symbol on his desk is- well how I interpret it- a common symbol of a morningstar encasing a city-At the time 7:49- 👀🔆 Anyways that interesting detail aside- I genuinely think Netflix was cruel to this show in several ways- I’m impressed how they pulled off such a good show despite the restrictions/budget What not. There’s so many talented people working on this and I think it’s goods do outweigh the negatives in many regards. I’d love to say more but I already typed a lot lol- great video as always! Anyways back to hoping this show gets renewed 😅

And therein lies the problem with the Cuphead Show: so much potential, all of it wasted on the wrong things. Quite literally the only episodes worth watching in my opinion are "Carn-Evil", "Roll the Dice", "Down and Out" (as a possible in-betweener for "Roll the Dice" and "Release the Demons!"), the Sweater two-parter, "In Charm's Way" to "Charmed and Dangerous", "A High Seas Adventure!", "Release the Demons!", "Dead Broke", the season 2 finale and season 3 premiere, and the season 3 four-parter (yes, four-parter, I checked)...out of 36 episodes (you do the math).

I got spoiled of the scene where The Devil shows Chalice what would happen to her if she didn’t keep her end of the deal, and came into the episode thinking that it was gonna end with that happening to her. Fortunately it didn’t. I was still terrified during that scene tho. My favorite part of season 3 was definitely Chalice and her friendship with the Cup bros. Seeing the three of them all getting into shenanigans and having fun together was just really nice to see. And NGL I was in genuine fear during Cuphead and Devil’s Rock Paper Scissors game and the dance fight. Not because the events themselves were scary, but because of what would happen if the cuptrio didn’t beat the Devil Also her backstory reminded of how much I despise orphanages IRL and the abusive people who’ve ran most of them

Backstory explained : Chalice was abandoned by her parenta for unknown Reason and was raised in an orphange to break her fun and her spirit, one day she had a great idea and escape the orphange successfully and thats when she gets to do he passion and unfortunately she has to survive then she found her talent as her survival then one day she was dancing in the road and then gets crashed by a vehicle then she meets the devil and gets a second chance to live and dance after that she meet cuphead and mugman aka the duo then one day they went to the circus and found a fortune machine unlucky her fortune has to be meeting with the devil and they have to make a deal then here’s the spoiler After for a few months she tried to trick the duo but reveals that she has to trick the duo to be alive and about the deal she made, but then they make a tap dancing battle with the devil sadly she lost but cup head wanted to play Rock Paper Scissors and then if he loses chalice will become a spirit but if he wins chalice will live then cuphead won Moral lesson: don’t dance on the road

@Têlegrame me👉Alphajayshow👈 and then Lil Purple Chalice found Lil Ms. Chalice in The Inkwell City and then they go in the house no one owns it they both hide in the ink machine to get the Ink Demon away and then the Ink Demon's gone Purple Chalice still has his cloak on his identity was still hidden and then the Ink drowning him and then the ink giving Lil Ms. Chalice agony pain and then her hand on the wall in the ink machine and then drag both of them into Joey Drew studios they found each other again and then the Ink Demon found both of them they running away from the Ink Demon they both hide from him and then they fall into the area where the messed up Butcher Gang members and then Lil Ms. Chalice cannot get up and she cannot wake up she falls asleep and then Purple Chalice has to defend himself and fight them back and then the Ink Demon hearing the fight going on he found them again and then grab both of their handles and then Purple Chalice punching Ink Demon in the face give the Ink Demon zero damage and then the ink machine was just throw him at the wall why is the ink demon holding his handle well his hood of his cloak was on

@Têlegrame me👉Alphajayshow👈 and then the Ink Demon just broke through the wall and then beat the living heck out of Purple Chalice wearing a Purple Cloak and then he turn Purple Chalice into dust his Cloak was the only thing still survived and then the Ink Demon bringing Lil Ms. Chalice into a safe place in the studio and then the other Purple Cloak Ancients they know and saw that the Ink Demon just beat the living hack of Lil Purple Chalice and turn him into dust they brought him back the life of a potion that's where he has to find Lil Ms. Chalice before the Ink Demon turns her into dust the ink demon cannot turn Lil Ms. Chalice into dust he just protecting her and let her have fun cool right and then why Lil Ms. Chalice still has the deed from the orphanage because her Dad wants her to keep it because his penguin faculty members of The orphanage cannot touch the deed that'll be cool right
