This isn't Phil Thornalley on bass. This was a one-off promotional televised gig and he couldn't make it as he was busy producing a Duran Duran LP at that time. The bass player is called Norman Fisher Jones.

Andy Anderson’s drums made them sound so heavy live. The live album “Concert” is definitely my favorite live Cure album. The only thing is I wish Simon Gallup had been back on bass at the time they were doing these live shows (no offense to Phil Thornalley)

​@luifranco1457 in this performance Norman fisher Jones filled in for Phil as he was unavailable doing a record I believe for someone. Norman would only play with the cure one other time after this being on the Oxford road show in 1984
