I have seen The Cure 3 times, you REALLY have to be there.. this song blows you away! Back in 1983 I never imagined I would have The Cure on my IPod in 2012.....

His pleading voice just cuts me tomy soul. Love when RJS comes in at 6:25 with his guitar, such passion.

llike rolls of carpet surrounding me in laughter and feelings that I'll never know again. I was front row for this. I met them. Even Lawrence. Omg. I miss it.

The torture is particularly exquisite in your voice tonight, for this song, appropriately.

Too bad their new stuff sucks; Friday I'm in love? Come on Rob! Stop writing radio happy crap and get back to stuff like this!

@uglyguido One, that song is just a three years younger than disintegration and two look up the albums BLoodflowers(2000) and 4:13 Dream(2008) he didn't completely leave music like this behind because those newer albums are full of it. and they're working on another album right now

@MattVehemety64213 жыл бұрын
@langlokken Yes, thats what is being said. lol And it isn't really far fetched either considering 4:13 Dream was in 2008. Too bad the person I wrote that comment for ignored it. Guess they will stay ignorant. Oh well, they're missing out XD

what a difference a drummer can make. Just compare the drummer in 1992, 1993 with this new drummer... the new one plays lifeless & boring. He looks like "i'm bored. i wanna go home"
@BarbieChaite7 жыл бұрын
it's not only the drummer the problem... bass & guitar sound have become ugly, with a shitty-cheapy distorsion. 2004 was the limit.

I have watched just about every version of this masterpiece and seen it performed live. This has to be the absolute worst. Slow, dull and only Simon G seems to have energy. Not sure what RS was on that night but thank god he no longer presents himself in this condition
