Im the biggest Cure Fan ever.Friend I would have loved to of been there,right next to you screaming me lungs out,listening to the Cure live Wow Amigo,I am envious.The Cure is the best Ive ever seen/heard.Nothing could ever approach it.Theres just a bit over 70 full minutes of music on this disc.Robert Smith is a brilliant musician.

All songs on Disintegration stand on their own. Was a great album in which I had the pleasure of going to see live in concert in my junior year in high school at Chicago/Rosemont Horizon now the All State Arena

the viola sample is from the stock Ensoniq EPS disk set (same set used for the sitar sound on "If Only Tonight We Could Sleep". And anyone talking shit about this performance wasn't there to see the 1989 tour. Jealousy. Right. Second row center at Fiddler's Green in Denver 1989, myself. I'll never ever forget it.

I think you very close to the truth in your take on the lyrics. Slowly getting dragged into things that so tempting and full of lust, but not good for you. The real world and your good, solid relationship is the best place to be, but the impossible fantasy world is hard to leave behind.

The synth is driving me batshit. Most fans seem to love the keyboard element of The Cure. Not me. I prefer the guitar/bass/drums/voice approach by far.
