And I'm outside in the dark Staring at the blood red moon Remembering the hopes and dreams I had And all I had to do And wondering what became of that boy And the world he called his own... I'm outside in the dark Wondering how I got so old It's all gone It's all gone Nothing left of all I loved It all feels wrong It's all gone It's all gone It's all gone No hopes no dreams no world No… I don't belong No… I don't belong here any more It's all gone It's all gone I will lose myself in time It won't be long It's all gone It's all gone It's all gone Left alone with nothing The end of every song Left alone with nothing The end of every song Left alone with nothing Nothing Nothing Nothing

It's magical, his tears express his whole attitude to his own music. I have never seen a person so sincerely share his emotions with the audience, not hiding them at all. He hasn't changed over the years. His soul, so pure and kind, is too young for his outer shell, but he can't do anything about it. Time kills everything, he understands it and his tears reflect it so clearly. Fame hasn't changed him. Unlike many, he doesn't wear a mask. He's real and I really appreciate him for that

I’m 57 and grew up listening to Robert and the cure. I not only feel his pain I can also relate. Growing old isn’t about the fear of what is yet to come, but the sorrow of what has been lost. So many memories that are now filled with regret. You can never go back, and that breaks my heart. I feel that’s something Robert has been able to convey in his music for a long time.

@@lauraa7042 I'm conflicted... no computers back then. You went to a record store to buy music...what a treat..we'd spend hours at Tower Records. You could go to school without the worry of being shot. You could go to a concert, a movie, grocery shopping, or just go outside, go anywhere, without constantly looking over your shoulder, never knowing if the next bullet might be meant for you. Times have changed. I remember missing the last bus after a dance. I was 15 yrs old. And a car pulled up to where I was standing. Six passengers, all boys. I told them my Dad was going to kill me! They said, we can give you a ride. I got in that car totally trusting these teenage boys. They took me straight home. Present tense- these days, I would not get in a car with 6 guys. I used to hitchhike all over my city (Philadelphia) many times alone and I guess I just got lucky. Yeah- things are different now. But now for instance- if your car breaks down, you pick up your cellphone and call a friend. So there's good and bad these days. And that part, will never change. There will always be evil in this world. Hopefully it won't tip the scale to where there's more evil people than good people. If that happens, we're all doomed...

false - i can give u names of bands that sounds even better live than on studio albums + sound way better than Cure on stage . Here , i can notice many disparities in the live sound - the drums particularly - not a real good drummer i have to say - sorry i have seen hundreds of drummers live and this one is not on par with many bands i saw live since 1985 . The bass was nearly inaudible as well .

goosebumps , this comes from his deepest soul , his heart is bleeding , he is fighting his tears and fighting aging. This world is not the same as 30 years ago , people have become more selfish , cell phone zombies , everyone walks past each other without saying anything. The disease of time , having fun with each other is over. All that remains is a beautiful memory to our youth , for me it has been over for 30 years , I am 52 years old now and like Robert I have to cry when I see what we have made of this world. But I will eagerly wait for when this album is going to be released and then I will play this wonderful track constantly !!! THX Robert ( The Cure) you guys still give me a little hope with your beautiful music.

He certainly knows how to hit those sorrowful, austere, lonely, and lovely notes. I’m about to turn 60 and reminded of long sunny days on the beach playing frisbee with my yet-to-be wife. Before the internet, before 9/11, before the end of innocence, before the decay of my home town. My kids are now in their twenties and I’m sitting here watching the Cure wondering how it got this way.

Only recently I ‘found’ Depeche Mode and was also brought back to my club days. I know I’m way behind all of you, but a good thing is that it will take a long time to run out of music to catch up on between the 2 bands. I saw them at Riot Fest back in September, and they played this first. I had tears running down my own face, I couldn't believe I was finally seeing The Cure perform live. Thank you for capturing this moment.

Aww Robert ... He has suffered an extraordinary amount of loss in the past couple of years. Brother, father and mother died. Lost uncles and aunts to covid. Simon lost his wife. I saw them live in 2019. I am very aware of how lucky I was to have seen them under the circumstances. I have been waiting my whole life.

It is sad to witness our heroes age and watch their mortality become part of their work. We want a young Robert to live forever and bless us performing the songs that were part of our lives. Everything has to end someday and it sucks to accept that

Listened to it once to hear it, now playing again to experience it, full volume, eyes closed, letting it into that locked away special place in my heart where The CURE finds my emotional core, and pulls tears from the depths of my soul. Another Great One. Thank You - CK

This emotionally charged performance sees Robert Smith delivering a raw, tearful rendition that connects deeply. "Endsong" isn’t just a track-it’s a poignant journey through impermanence and longing. Watching this live was unforgettable, indescribable, yet impossible to stop revisiting. 🖤

All of us grew older with you, Robert. Some of us, only grew older BECAUSE of you. You made us weird goth, alternative kids of the late 80s and early 90s feel understood and heard and worth something. Now, at 48 and having listened to the Cure since I was 15, and going to every concert (we just left the cure in Denver tonight) I feel like I know him well, thanks to songs like these, baring his soul to the world. Making everything - even the painful moments - beautiful with his voice and poetry... I know I made the right connection when I fell in love with the Cure in my youth. And I will love Robert Smith, forever, for all he did for me personally, through his lyrics and his stunning vocals. ❤
