Just like how we see SpongeBob, Squidward, Mrs. Puff (her husband), and Patrick’s family, the only species we see once In SpongeBob is Larry the lobster. There’s even an episode where Sandy has her professor visit for an experiment or something with like two other scientists. Mr. Krabs isn’t the only crab in bikini bottom.

Plankton did... get the formula and he improved on it too in the spongebob movie. That's where plankton sells Neptune crown in shell city and frames krabs for it. He ultimately makes the krabby patty 2.0 by adding a hint of chum. He then mind controlled the city until spongebob rocked everyone back to their natural mindless ways but this isn't the only time plankton actually got his hands on the formula. It's just one of the few times he successfully made use of it

If we accept the history of the Krusty Krab as shown, the building shape and name are completely unrelated to anything Mr Krabs does. The building was pre-existing and simply became available, and it was already named the Rusty Krab, which Mr Krabs minimal effort changed to the Krusty Krab. There is no deep connection, just coincidence. That's, of course, if we accept the history as shown.

One if rusties old menu options. Now I'm curious to know how he went out if business.. was rusty the same cook that krabs used to go and eat from when he was a kid? I think maybe the rivalry between Mr krabs and plankton is at least somewhat fake. Maybe they both thought “how do we ensure the krusty krab stays a monopoly” and plankton became the fall guy opening the chum bucket to serve intentionally bad food to discourage other businesses from even attempting to compete, and to discourage customers from trying other restaurants. Maybe Mr krabs shares the profits with plankton because of this arrangement, but they realized it would be suspicious for the chum bucket to even be open with no buisness, so plankton kept trying to “steal the recipe” to keep up the facade.

There are other places to get food, and the high-class food seems to be in high contention. With various restaurants there, Mr Krabs took Miss Puff to one. For the deserts, Goofy Goobers and Weenie Hut. With much more. We have competition for the Krusty Krab Pizza, Bunny Buns, and Pizza Piehole is likely what causes it to not be there alongside the Krabby Patty. They are primarily a pizzerias. Breakfasts we have "Diner" yeah... "Diner" and Coffee Bowl. For the upper class, we have Fancy For hotdogs, we have, Hotdog on a string and "Hotdog Shop." We do actually have competitors to the Krusty Krab; Fish King/Burger Fish, presumably The Krusty Klam, and Wagon Wheel(?). For chicken, we have Sea Chicken Shack For tacos we have Taco Haüs and Taco Sombrero. For noodles and probably other far eastern foods we have Wet Noodle. Also tons of bars, like... TONS. So, there's definitely quite the competition.

Krabs tells Bob what it is and clearly it's something kind of long, but Bob reacts as he's still being told, by eventually nearly barfing but swallowing it, then something utterly shocks him so much he stiffens up and turns white. And Krabs's reaction before telling shows he's likely nervous about telling Bob what it even is. What episode is this scene from, anyone know?

6:47 well that’s just wrong in the episode kracked krabs Mr krabs and SpongeBob go to an award ceremony where mr krabs is awarded as the cheapest krab in that award ceremony they are dozens of krabs in there and in other episodes we see Mr krabs family members like mom grandpa etc
