This is how I've kind of felt all along. I don't have time to grind enough to the point of burnout due to lack of content and it allows me to still appreciate the awesome core gameplay despite the lack of content. I still definitely enjoy this game but I can definitely see where people who are grinding for hours every single day are coming from with the frustrations

Halo has its flaws, but I definitely feel there is a very vocal minority of players that play the game for 8+ hours/day driving the narrative. I don’t get to play much, so I’m not burnt out, but I agree, Halo could use some more maps amongst other things.

I decided to switch things up about two weeks ago on halo infinite. I went from playing on controller to mouse and keyboard for the first time. It’s been fun and a bit of a learning curve. That’s how I’m able to keep things fresh in halo infinite and humble myself a bit. BTB is the wave for me. Ranked has been hit or miss as of recently, too many people are dropping games.

I haven't played in a a couple months because desync made the entire game unplayable. I don't know how or why desync seemed to be so selective where some people never experienced it while others never experienced a game without, but 9/10 games I played were completely broken, and ping didn't matter. Low ping games were still terrible, and everyone I know that kept playing after the supposed update says it only got worse.

@@coop5046 The same problem that has been present since launch: weak players placed into top ranks, and good players placed into low ranks. Then rubber banding the progress so that you are locked into your rank. An absolute bullshit ranked system.

No matter how good my ping is I have several times in each game where it says unstable connection and jumps up above 200. Usually on the same area of a map

put in 183 hours from release til beginning of february, got tired of the crashes and tried apex for the first time..... checked yesterday and put in 170 hour since feb, the weeklies or trash "events" cant even get me back...couldnt even if i wanted to, unplayable with all the crashes. 😪 dont think apex is only BR either, ive been having fun in the 3v3 mode

I am in Canada and I still get consistently poor ping, 90ms seems to be normal. I am on wifi but I consistently get 40 to 55 ms in Valorant. I don't see that as fixed.

I think this halo has the best gameplay out of all of them. However no forge/custom games still makes this game fall way short of being a full fledged Halo title. I love it tho, I'm patient and the new maps and season will be dope

Not gonna lie I get the take a break. Been doing it since halo 5. Went and played some single player only games level out my head, come back and find some enjoyment. Don’t think the Latency (still seeing 120 normally, 50 is the SSR) issues where fixed for me but I digress.

How I'm having fun: Still cheating in ranked and team killing shills who bought stuff from the Shop. Most fun I've ever had since Reach. Nothing's going to change with 1 new arena map in Season 2. And they gave up on fixing desync because they determined the netcode is too much of a mess and they released the people who actually built Infinite.

Needing to recommend players TAKE A 2-4 WEEK BREAK explains everything about how terrible this game is. At its core sure it’s (semi) enjoyable halo. But none of the issues have truly been fixed. No content. And the lead designer even left the company what does that tell you. Delay after delay. It’s going to be a year before the game is even salvageable as a triple A title

I'm pretty much done, even the core gameplay isn't enough to keep me on, which btdubs: good core gameplay should be the bare minimum we should expect from a professional game dev, not be praised like it's some miracle. Its not bout muscle memory, he plays other shooters. Its about when you have been playing to much you will get bored. Thatd completeley natural and should apply to every game if they dont drop new content constantly to hold the players who plqy that much. So if you dont play all day like a junk a game can remain being awsome without changing every other month.

I'm in north America and I just played halo again for the first time in 2 months, and in addition to the still present desync, I experienced constant rubber banding, and almost half my games would just crash halfway through. It seems to have gotten worse than it was at launch
