You can change ammo types but that's more of an attack modifier and there is no limit. Although they might need to implement an ammo system because ranger solo leveling is leagues above any other class especially after lvl 12 with some decent gear. Solo ranger can kill packs of mobs while the support classes are forced to kill single mobs or find a group.

What would i gain from killing someone? I roam around the map and see someone farming. I kill them. What do i get(beside corruption)

on death you drop a % of your resources, other players can then loot those. So if you are farming rare materials, there is a chance someone could steal some of those

depends on the rarity of that gear. Corruption is meant to be a gank deterrent, so if you arent corrupt, you dont drop gear :D

The gear that people are using in game right now is very replaceable. But according to devs in the future when crafting is more functional, the best gear will be craft only so if you are a notorious ganker, you may find yourself not being able to buy gear because everybody hates you. Some of those relations between people and guilds have already formed, many guilds have kill on sight hanging orders against eachother. Very cool to see in an MMO that came out 2 weeks ago and can only be played in a limited time schedule.

No, because the other player was already PvP flagged, you don't gain corruption from killing PvP flagged people, you only gain corruption from killing non-flagged people

No, they have to NOT be flagged for you to go corrupt. If you kill someone who is PvP flagged, nothing happens really, you just stay pvp flagged

Mostly nonexistent. Ranger has camo but there are really no stealth mechanics at all beyond that right now

@@Vujkan Trust me, if AoC adds pure invisibility like games from the past with pvp in them, it will destroy endgame. Eventually, everyone will have a stealther alt so they can avoid dying. Pure 100% invisibility is not needed if the class is designed right. We don't need a DAoC or WoW version of stealth in this game. And if there is 100% invisibility you need to have your attack power slowly drained so stealth is only used for scouting, not for attacking. Or make it so stealth lasts 30 seconds before you become visible. And you can't restealth for 2 minutes.

Question: I've played Dark Age of Camelot i many years and I loved the PvP Rank progression system, where you get skill points to progress your character, by killing other players. Does AoC have something similar? Do you gain anything by killing other players?

Atm no, you dont gain anything beyond the loot their body may carry

@RitchieSH that's most unfortunate. AoC seems very PvP oriented. I was hoping some sort of skill point system, that could make your character more powerful, by killing other players. In DaoC you got "Realm Skill Points" which you could use for special abilities, CC resistance, block/parry chance, crit chance or just overall stat progression.

can you make a video about the PVE side of things? Open dungeons, Bosses, if there's some instance dungeon... things like that. all I saw until now is that is a few questions and the rest is a lot of grinding

corruption just sounds like it ruins the game, you are going to punish a player for over 10 hours, item drops, stats reduction... because a victim dies and it might take someone 30 seconds to walk back to their body... how carebear and stupid is this game.

Corruption makes no sense, just make people flagged as criminals and be eligible to kill without any penalty from all players. This breaks the PVP. Another theme park PvP game

I mean the whole point is to punish random gankers. They will probably implement a system later where just one kill doesn't do much, but killing the same person over and over will give you more and more corruption

@@willothewisp91 the corrupt side of things only happens when you kill a target who didn't fight back. If they fight back both parties are purple and flagged for PvP. At which point there's smaller death penalties compared to dying as a non combatant
